The Babolat Pure Strike 98 Gen4 tennis racquets have NF2 Technology that provides a better feel than the previous version C2 Pure Feel. The secret is the insertion of flax fibers which allow greater feedback than before. The Strike 98 is available in two different string patterns. Both the 16x19 and 18x20 versions are 10.8 ounces unstrung and have a slightly head-light balance. These versions play with slightly more flex than the previous versions, but they still are some of the most explosive control segment racquets on the market. Dominic Thiem and Cam Norrie endorse the Strike series on the pro tour. The Gen4 Strike lineup also includes the Strike 97, Strike 100, Strike 100 16x20, and Strike Team.

gen 3 was/is amazing. Nicer cosmetics too.
Gen 3 has great control to power ratio and a fat sweetspot.
. many people complained about feel (feedback) while having a dampener in the strings at the same time. Feel is fine with the right stiff poly strings and no dampener and full swing hard strike technique.
gen 3 has more power. the gen 4 a bit more control.

If you are reasonable athletic and use the gym once in a while, Then the gen 3 was comfortable enough. Gen 3 was more easy on the arm compared to the Pure Aero/Pure Drive.

3. gen paintjob is better. This one looks like japanese cartoon.
Old version slightly stiffer = slightly more powerfull. sweetspots are the same. they changed out the pure feel rubber with Smac tec. now more vibration to arm = more feel and less dampening.
comfort probably around the same.
