this is not the first time im watching this video or this statue and from all of the figures and statues I've seen like ever this has to be the best one because it's my favourite anime episode/moment, gon is the best protagonist of all time, except maybe from eren but yeah... and this statue summarizes the whole moment amazingly well, this moment is just unmatched
I got mine recently, and yeah... The quality really isnt great. Beast Gon's head also cracked for me and I also had a piece of one of these big flames that was broken off. And it was even worse, as my 'normal' Gon was broken and split in two at the neck. These tiny flames are wobbly, Gon's foot doesn't really slide inside the base for me too. Last thing, I really wish that that beast gon's head would have just been PVC. It probably would have been easier to put, and less fragile. I will never put the LEDs inside just because I know it means I will crack the head again. It does look AMAZING though, so I'm willing to let it go for this time. But I'll never order from Relics again. Also, no idea how you found how to put the larger flames, as they're not even visible in the pre-order pictures :D.
Dang I’m sorry you went through all those issues. For me even though I had a few issues I think I still do really like RD designs so I’m still picking a few more up. I did however pass on Kurapika, I just didn’t like that one.
I got an email from Fnc that it went back in stock but after seeing how many people had trouble with the head breaking I don’t know. On one hand it is an absolutely stunning statue, but on the other hand basically every single video I’ve seen of it being assembled the face breaks. It’s easily in my top two moments in hunter x hunter, but I don’t like the fact it is so fragile.
Honestly I’d say it’s still worth it 😂 the issue with the head are just a few cracks that fall off and you don’t notice once on display. But if you really care about getting a perfect statue then maybe stay away. I still don’t regret getting this one 👍
For broken parts especially transparent and semi-transparent parts, you should just go get professionals to fix it. Even though it costs a bit, it's worth it. I also collectt GK statues so I'm telling you this from my experience.
Also I'm not sure what glue brand you use but I use N97 glue for repairing. It's quick and really sticky. Also these studios that makes the statues sometimes do make mistakes and sometimes the holes just won't fit in smoothly, so usually we'd use hairdryer to kind of soften it a bit and make it fit more smoothly so it wouldn't crack.
I'm not trying to criticize you or anything, I just want to help you and give you some tips so you could make your experience with GK statues even better!
No worries I don’t take offense. If anything I appreciate the tips. As for getting a professional to fix breaks I wouldn’t know who to contact 😂 thankfully I’ve been content with the way my statues look on display after fixing any breaks myself.

@@pksplash I guess it’s different for everyone…I had daddy issues growing up so watching Gon lose it after realizing he lost the one connection he had to his father was pretty emotional for me 🥲 Even though they brought him back anyway…that part I wasn’t a big fan of 😂
@@pksplash I think it is pretty safe to say not a lot of people like Gon in the hospital for Season 5, but the transformation and fight with Pitou was awesome.

It’s enormous!! Super hard to display which is why I don’t like 1:4 scale 😂 but I still love it and glad I got it. Probably my favorite Gon so far.

Did both boxes arrive at the same time because I only got the hard styrofoam box with parts but not the head or stand
Yeah both boxes arrived at the same time for me. But I have heard of others get 2 boxes on 2 different days.
