Cooperative blood donation drive to support the heath sector

The cooperative movement have been urged to support the health sector by donating blood.
Speaking yesterday at the cooperative university of kenya during the kickoff of the blood donation drive organized by ushirika council, the principal secretary, cooperatives and msme, patrick kilemi said apart from donating of blood being a noble act of charity, it epitomizes the essence of cooperative principle number seven which is concern for the community. He called upon all kenyans to participate in the upcoming the ushirika day celebrations scheduled for the 6th of july 2024 to be held at the kenyatta international convention centre where president william ruto will be the chief guest for a second year running.
