The animation is amazing and love the 3d/2d style, has Sawano doing the soundtrack and good VA casting, and the concept/sypnosis, while not groundbreaking, is very interesting... and has huge potential. Also heard that they had a screening of the 1st episode at anime expo and someone mentioned it looked good. I have very high hopes for this one, hopefully they don't let me down.
So just to summarize... star studded va cast, multiple animation styles, pretty sure I saw Hiromatsu Shu style cuts on here, Arcane adjacent cg render style, Hiroyuki Sawano is on here... How much money went into this?

@@dennisxing5249 well actually Aniplex (the one that's been doing Fate series stuff) is here, whole bunch of Japanese big names are in, and maybe they also hired the studio that did Arcane to do the 3d stuff since hiring professionals would be easier that doing it all yourself? I'm not downplaying the role of Chinese animators and all btw, Chinese, Vietnamese and S.Korean are all being hired as part-timers or collab partners with major Japanese studios nowadays so it's just a mutual thing tbh. And Korean & Chinese giants commissioning Japanese studios to animate stuff for them is also nothing new either.
@_Lax_ lmao ur wrong studio fortiche was not included in the project at all Paper Plane, LAN Studio, PB Animation & B. Cool Studio are the animation studio behind this and the producers are billibili and aniplex, No japanese or animation studio from other countries was involved. IF your not clear then don't say false stuff😂
@_Lax_ plus this took 5 years of production that's why it looks so good, the 3D art style was inspired by arcane which is why the 3D art style looks similar

it’s chinese, although it’s a blatant mix of Japanese and western characters n stuff. i don’t see anything original or chinese about it apart from the chinese-game-like aesthetic.
