It’s fun to watch you whip this. I’m 64 and only wish I could beat it at that speed. I have to do everything on easy or normal, but it’s still fun and gets me moving. That’s what’s important for me.
I am going on 59 and started only on normal. Then every now and then put it on hard and then back to normal. Normal then seemed so slow. So I did the same with Hard. I do a few songs on hard to warm up then go to expert for a couple songs. Goal is just not to fail! LOL Then back to hard and usually I will post a highscore because then it seems slow. Really strange but it works. Just go for it!@@chilly578
Keeping moving is vital to living a youthful life especially at 64!and best saber is phenomenal at doing that. Not only that it’s good for mental health too. Both left and right sides of the brain are being worked, stimulating multiple senses, music and exercise go hand in hand and with the release of alllll of the chemicals endorphins, serotonin, oxytocin, and the other too. I even got my mom to play a couple times a week her life has turned around she doesn’t even take antidepressants anymore.
Not only that my niece and nephew got an oculus, I have the 2 and 3 we all have family night once a week. 2x on week.
So keep doing what you’re doing.
Keep going at it, and you will improve. Then you will find normal level like watching a car pass by at 5 miles an hour. Will be excruciatingly slow.

I'm 63 and having the time of my life with it! All these years behind me made me realize that the only time I'm "too old" is when I really regretted not just doing that something at that at the moment

The fact that vr can do that level of real time rotoscoping and composting just made 1000 sfx artists cry. Like Jedi turning evil cry.
Remember when you sat there and handkeyed that mask for days and days and then your shot was cut anyways? Pepereage farm does and then you chocked pepereage farm until he blacked out. Now pepereage farm remember much of anything from that day.
She is just using a green screen mate. It's ain't that perfect either. You can see through the player at times.

I just got VR and Beat Saber. This song is amazing, and I'm glad I'm not the only person who vibes with the beat while they play. Everyone else I see play plays like robots.

I love the fact that beat saber actually makes you dance and playing it otherwise is just not possible ;)
or you can just hold your arms still and flick your wrists until you break them
synth Riders makes you do a lot of dance moves, especially on the electroswing songs. it's really fun to watch someone play them.
And it is really cool how the kind of dance also fits the type music: Long swings like bow strikes for Lindsay Stirling feel very different to Eye of the Tiger for instance, that makes you kinda mimic a boxing match

Nifty! I've been a Lindsey Stirling fan for quite some time. Looking through your channel just now, I stumbled upon this video, and thought "Wow! Which album is this song from?!" I didn't remember it. I looked it up, and discovered it's a Beat Saber exclusive! It's great music, just like all the rest of Lindsey's work - and you, OtterWorldly, continue to slay with your awesome skills!

I am impressed she did nearly as well as I do in this game ;) I am nearly 70 and am slowly but surely working my way up the tunes, I have mastered Twinkle Twinkle and going for Mary had a Little Lamb next, getting closer to these girls one tune at a time lol.

I started playing Beat Saber about a month and a half ago, I can juuuust about manage that song on Expert (non+), without directional notes, and even then - barely. Like C-grade. You're a BEAST!
Impressive. I had this playing in the background while I worked out, then looked up to see box parts flying all over the place. Had to rewind to fully watch it all. Oh and Lindsey Stirling is the perfect match for Beat Saber...

Hold up on the Hold up. Did Beat Saber get harder because that song kicked my a$$? Had to go down to Expert and still failed, though I eventually got through it. Otter makes this look way too easy. I pictured myself looking more like Jabba the Hutt fending off ravenous swamp mosquitos.

Those moves where you have to follow the line are always so interesting to me and i loved watching how you handled it! I'm not sure I'm wording this question correctly, but how are we seeing you AND the VR that you are seeing at the same time? Is this a playback feature anyone who gets the game can use, or is this some special editing?

Tbf, lightsabers are near weightless😅
I also practice with real swords and honestly it really helps with the shoulder movements (building up strength so I don't rip my arms out of their sockets as I try to replicate what she does💀)
OtterWorldly has done a lot of Lindsey Stirling maps in the past that I was almost convinced OtterWorldly's name was Lindsey. Hell, maybe it is! I only got an A on my first attempt. Sucks when EasyOffset isn't available for this version of Beat Saber.

I really love your videos and it helps me get better to Beat Saber but I dont understand something. In my game, your blue is my purple and your purple is my blue. The blocks are switched. Idk if it make sens and if soemone knows the problem pls tell me.

These days I can beat *most* songs on Expert+ including this one, but I remember when I would be in awe of people like this too! I remember not being able to fathom the skill. It takes time, but anyone can get there, especially considering you already got to the stage where you can beat songs on Hard! You got this, never give up!

@@devinedragoon Hand eye coordination means nothing in beat saber, all you need to do is play game regularly and don't give up, most of best beat saber players has been playing for over 3 years to get there, someone improves faster, someone slower, but everyone can get to level of beating ost maps on expert+, i still remember when i was thinking that all people who play on expert+ are some kind of robots,but now i am top 400 beat saber player after 2 years and i never imagined that i will be able to do maps that hard(and ost expert+ is not even close to maps that i was playing except power of the saber blade, it is indeed really hard map), so just don't give up and play the game and don't be upset if you can't do something at the moment, you'll get there eventually
