🐻You should make these tutorials really poppy and really get into it I kind of got bored you know like one minute on each of the 5 points...people then could just grab this video and not really interrupt their workflow!😆👍
Totally, quick and to the point. I always strive to improve myself, so, thanks for your input, I appreciate it greatly!
@Dreamlight3D 😎Yeah I make tutorials and 😎my last one was 20 minutes another recent one was 40 minutes 😎so believe me I'm still trying all the time too!🙂😀I'm gonna try again on this next part in my Making a Sitcom in Blender (leveraging DAZ Studio) series... 😮I'm using Ian Hubert's Quick Tutorial for Blender (for making buildings) as my guide/reference...😀
💸😀I'm gonna try and stick to it verbatim this time!😀💸
(😎I never do)
@@toapyandfriends Ha ha, yeah, I follow you, and yeah, it's hard to keep 'em short, I know! lol It's something I want to become better at for sure. There is a time and place for longer tutorials of course, but here on UA-cam, I think you're 100% right, it needs to be short, punchy and fun... Good luck with your own tutorials! :)
I tend to set the camera in position, then hide the scenery whilst i work on everything else, and only unhide it when im rendering
Perfect, Peter, that's the way to go!
THAT SLOW ASS THING happen for me when i have any model loaded with hair
i dont know whatsup with the hairs in daz but no matter what if i have hair in a scene take so much time to pose a model because is so laggy
I know what you mean. Some hair props are more "heavy" than others. Try loading a more "simple" hair prop, with less details or a different kind. Often, dForce hair takes much more system resources than normal conforming hair...
Great tutorial Val! Could you use the geometry editor to cut away other areas of the scene you don't need? just wondering...
Thanks Ed, not really sure about that, sounds like a cool idea, haven't tried it!
You need to get a PC with a good graphics card as laptops are too slow for rendering out in Daz studio.
Yes, that's true for using heavy props and scenes, but if you're using HDRI maps, you can get away with very good renders even just using the CPU for rendering...
Not always the case. Some assets are too realistic/gpu heavy. Even my RTX4090 gets on it's knees when dealing with such assets. So I use Scene optimiser to cut down the texture sizes of the assets.
