After experiencing both the fields I can easily say that perfect job never exists. In CGL you'll get peace of less work but at the same time minimal growth. In banks or any other public sector there is growth but no work life balance. In a Private entity or MNC, you'll get huge growth and maybe some times a good profile but there is always a fear of job security. So, in a jist I can say there is peace nowhere, we have to adjust ourselves.

Our Regional Manager joined central bank of India in 2011 as a PO....
In 12 yrs he is promoted to RM and his net salary is almost 1.5 lakh+...(before 12th BPS)
And also he gets many facilities like petrol,furniture,paper,etc etc...
In banks you can reach in top most level in a small time span...no doubt about it
CGL is purely Centrally Administered Government Job while Bank is a limited semi-government Job.....CGL is far too better than Bank jobs which comes with a lot of variety.......😊

Bhai mene SBI PO join kiya thaa July23 mein..meri second salary jo poori month ki aayi jisme nps ka bhi deduction hua and pf bhi deduct huaa..tab jaake net salary meri 64,500 aayi hain..Gross hto hain SBI PO ki 75000.And mujhe Monthly allowance milta hain 10500(65liters petrol for Car)and i am living in Vadodara(jo ki X city nhi hain like Ahmedabad) and mujhe 17500 milta h lease ka..Fir uske baad jitna bhi medical bills hte h woh bhi reimburse ho jaate hain...So Total kebal salary and allowance and lease ka kre=75000(Salary)+10500(Monthly Allowances)+17500(Lease)=103,000.
Medical bills 100% reimburse hte h SBI mein..aapke or aapke dependent ke..abhi mene yearly amd quarterly allowances and PLI ki baat nhi ki h tab.
Work pressure is not a problem but continuous transfer is main problem...
Rightly said. I’m currently working as PO in pnb and posted in north east . We get extra north east allowance rs. 7200 and in hand salary is 67k plus 16k rent and 4K petrol and other facilities like newspaper telephone bill etc. But frequent postings and pressure from higher authorities is more as compared to other jobs. If u work in a bank u will never have to worry about money cuz u can get easy loans anytime for anything car , house , personal use etc at very cheaper rates and simple interest . U have to choose in life if u want money or relaxation . And he rightly said . Pressure depends from branch to branch and what kind of branch manager u get.

Bank job - high salary growth
Dynamic sector lots of changes are happening and will happen..no stability in life rapid transfer..work varies from branch to branch( A guy with less work another guy with tremendous work pressure will get the same salary) so very diverse sector..corporate type culture..being a banker i can summarize these things if one is good to go with these things and feel comfortable then obviosly banking is the best option for others who are not comfortable..i just want to say one thing Banking ko apna comfort zone kabhi mat banana..if you have any other options go for it..only few people really like this industry and want to stay...one more thing make sure upto which age u can handle such pressure coz u have to go a long way..
I m working as a clerk in bank since 2017... Promoted last year to PO but didn't join as i was given posting in bengal.. now i have been selected as JSA i.e clerk in Min of Defence.. Should i switch my job?? As there is lot of pressure in banks these days ..even clerks ko b targets de dia jate hain... Need a suggestion

This is reality... I've worked in SBI clerical....or pressure k alava kuch nahi hai... CGL k jobs me kabhi kabhi hi work load hota hai...or agar po ho vo bhi SBI me to bhul jao....7 pm is normal timing....or me clerical me tha... chutti bhi nahi dete saale...kya karoge paise ka jab tum khud use spend nahi kar sakte...worst experience of my life....or managers to bahut harami hote hai...bass staff ko pareshan karte hai...work pressure fir bhi jhel loge... mental pressure nahi jhel sakte aap... don't justify these things...even private companies me bhi nahi hota itna...
Not many know what the true issues are, those who are working or have worked know, few to mention are cross selling, impossible targets etc., I would say PO in the bank is one of the worst psu or government jobs.

@@pawanjoshi2505 bhai aapka jo weak subject hain use strong banao and strong subject hain use strongest banao. Ho jaayega clear. Bahut log kya karte hain ki weak ko strongest banane ki koshish karte aur reh jaate. For eg: quants bahut logo ka weak hota hain and woh saal bar quants k bade bade d.i karke bait jaate aur final mein unka nahi hota. So give a balanced approach.

Bank mai growth accha hai ssc mai sirf 3 promotion hta hai jabki po atleast 5 to 7 promotion late hai

Agar apke pass time hain toh baki regulatory exams bhi de, bank bahr se alag hain andar alag, bohot sacrifice Krna padta hain 15-20k extra salary ke liye.
Meri side mein jo mam hoti thi uska transfer ek village mein krdiya hain, uski 1 choti bachhi hain 1.5 sal ki, husband ka job Mumbai mein hain ab husband ko vaha kon job dega, upar Jake jugad kregi isliye sidha system lock kr dete hain aur transferred place pe Jakr hi system khulega bolte hain, aise case apke branch ko bhi apne pas rkhne ka koi jarurat nhi hota.
But if you want to stay single and enjoy life then bank is better. Financially sound ho toh thoda aur dard sehan kro aur accha exam nikal lo.

CGL is far better than bank po or bank clerk. In bank there is always a financial risk. Always fear of having cash short. Or wrong neft transfer. We have to be very alert in doing bank job. Signature should perfectly match. We have to check every little thing and in so little time. There is tremendous target pressure. Even a small mistake and banker has to pay from his pocket. And banking ombudsman always support customer. Direct customer dealing everyday givese frustration.

Why than sbi po's write cgl, if po is better than cgl... auditors in cgl is 2800 gp the second lowest gp as compared to 4200 4600 4800 gp... No rational being considers po better than cgl, no matter po is a good job but no way close to cgl.

I know both person one joined as po in sbi and other as gst inspector through ssc but after 15 years the po salary is 1.5lac and gst person salary didn't cross 1lac even he promoted to irs but still not much growth in salary
Even the disadvantage in ssc is - the promotion is not like before becoz huge no. inspectors are recruiting so less growth in both salary and promotion
Also home state is the biggest hurdle with competition

my friend is a sbi clerk. out from home 830 am return 600 pm. according to him , PO out at 9 pm must.
trust me I better to half day (mean 4 pm out) in govt. (bank is not truly govt. ) rest of the half day with my family & friends.

@@doflamingo7973 yeah surely the paper in bank mains is tough to solve but subsequently you have to attempt 50% of it to qualify which is not the case with CGL where u get nothing below 80%
@@sscwalabankeri second you. Banking mains paper level may be tougher than the CGL paper but the level of competition in CGL is way way higher than banking. I myself have cleared 3 banking mains but have struggled with CGL by margins due to the competition level.
