this was super duper helpful!! i had been looking everywhere for hours to find something like this, so thank you so much!! im super new to unity, but my model has different textures; (it changes skin tone, hair color, eyes, clothes etc) and an alternate hairstyle, but they have no toggle in game for them! :< should i use an integer toggle for them, like you did with the different colored shirts? im really struggling >__

Yep, you should use an integer. Make sure that your default is set to 0, and your new colors are set to 1, 2, etc.
