Therefore brother If men are dead, they are come back to dust and the spirit return to God and when Jesus return for the 2nd time,, thats the time the dead in Christ will rise...SO THE DEAD ARE NOT WAITING FOR US IN HEAVEN THEY ARE STILL HERE SLEEPING...
there is a little bit theological abberation with this song " the Line THAT SAYS "Loved Ones There to Welcome me" that is not true. all of our loved ones who went first in the grave are still on their graves. they are not yet there in heaven. except Moses, Elijah, Enoch and of course the angels of God and the Father and the Son. Better replace this song with " heavenly father me/us..
Agreed. A lot of the songs they cover have theological abbrrations they don't bother correcting. Especially since the Heritage Singers are Adventists, most of them anyway.

This song inspires me when I'm feeling down, reminding me that all these pains and disappointments are just temporary.
