When we got our little staffy, as an adult 12yrs ago we soon discovered that she is terrified of thunder and goes into a complete panic. So we began to put her in her crate and cover it with a thick blanket to reduce the noise, as a further refinement we put one of my old pullovers in. It works a treat and we have often found that she has dropped of to sleep when we get her out.
