Helping families and hospital teams with free WWCIH resources

In this video we talk about the free What? Why? Children in Hopital resources for families and hospital teams and how they can help children feel less anxious about hospital procedures.
The charity now has more than 60 videos showing children having hospital procedures, posters for waiting areas, postcards to hand out to families and leaflets to be included in hospital appointment letters sharing the video links. This video also shows a number of key learning points from the Continued Professional Development training we provide to hospital teams in the UK.
Marit Boot, the founder of WWCIH; Shona Moyes, the manager of WWCIH and Claire Edwards, chair of the board of trustees talk about the aims of the charity, the range of free resources and how children with anxiety and children with learning disabilities and their parents/carers can be supported.
