So, as we set about to do YAHUAH's will, should the daughters of Zion wear makeup? Should they paint their nails or use hair weaves? What is the history of these practices? Did our ancestors practice them and if so, were they pleasing to the Most High? Join me as we delve into a study of the history of hair weaves, makeup and nail polish and as we seek to answer the question: Should women wear these things?

For my son’s formal wedding, I stretched myself and let my professional salon girlfriend give me a manicure (I think I did my own toes, since it was an outdoor affair and my feet would be exposed). I am from the baby boom generation, so it’s not something I would typically do. My natural nails were actually pretty attractive but I wanted that professional look. They turned out very nice however… when I was ready for those gel nails to come off, nobody told me a special solution was required. I removed them myself. My natural nails have never been the same. That was a couple years ago. There’s a reason the nail techs wear masks while they work. I will not make that mistake again.

Let us not forget how we are creating the enormous profitability for the hair industry. I learned that many black women use a lay-away plan to acquire this stuff. The human hair products can cost thousands of dollars and add to that, the hairdresser’s services. Can our financial conditions justify such an expense?

So at the start with Make Up, I'm listening and thought, well I don't really wear make up, just a lil powder once or twice a year.
On to Nails, tried it once and could not bare that stuff, tried the narural french tip look but no no, cannot stand anything on my nails.
On to the hair and I don't use human hair cause of the sacrifice to their gods. I use synthetic, as soon as you started, I've put down my drink and began to take them out my hair. Though I do it two or three times, this is where it ends. Cheers for that. 🙏🏾
