You can either do that, or you can still get away with just putting it in your data folder. I use the JPatcher, and I throw it in the regular data folder, not the Japanese folder, and it works just fine for me with everyone else in Japanese.

Because with the DW pre-event, they changed the voice files to .ogg format. These files aren't .ogg format, so you have to wait for the uploader to upload the new file in .ogg format, which nobody has any clue if it will happen, or if this guy even knows how to.
Correction, when you move and replace the file, you won't have the original. So, when you want to play again, let the patcher create another original, then just swap it out again.
Can i ask you something? What program did you use to change the .kom audio files ? I really want to make my own voice pack to Chung, but I don't know hot to make that audio files. I do not think just renaming the audio file to ".kom" it works, so... how you do that?

It's actually pretty simple. you do have to change the name to have it only say "data97.kom" What you have to figure out is how to start the game without patching it. I forgot how I did it, but you can search it in Google. Just search "How to start Elsword without patch" If you find on that tells you to put something like "Auto," that's the wrong one.

I don't know the way i use in KR server will work in NA or not. For KR server you should mod after game check patch finish and before you start game you should copy your mod and replace in folder game data Notice : you must back up files original data that you want to replace to another folder after finish playing you just replace original data back and do the same thing when you play and want to change the sound
I have Elsword installed on Steam, and I've done the steps that Kiel Hyre said, and it hasn't worked. How do you properly get the voice mods to work for Elsword Steam, as well as basic Elsword, because I will be installing that version to as well, due to having many accounts.

Since it is not serverside, you're pretty much isolated and that others won't know that you're using them. The only way they know that you're using them is when you record a video and showing it publicly. Yes, please be careful as you mod the voice files.
All you need to do is not record any videos with the voices, just if you do, make sure they are the original korean voices, they can't check the files you have from what I know, that would be a major invasion of privacy in my opinion, and besides, they'd have to be able to get into your comp. Just don't have the voices on if your making videos, and don't brag about how the voices sound so cool, etc etc, on the elsword chats and such. Thats what I do.

delete the gamebreaker park so the file just says datao93.kom wait until after the patcher closes then put in the file before elsword starts up
