Ryder nice to see you revive a classic! Liam is the Rudy of offensive linemen. He’s got heart and will play any position on the line but he’s a backup at best. You want to cheer for the guy but he dominates no one.
I’m not even a coach and me just watching this film pisses me off there is no way he should be starting . This is a knock on coaching by putting him out there
I feel the same way bro. This is unacceptable for a guard at the highest level of football to playing like this. McDaniels does nothing about it. It’s sad
You are right about the AJ injury exposing Eichenberg’s flaws. After that I believe the rushing average is below three yards. This offense would be unstoppable if that average was over four
Question: Do you agree with Eric Smith's grading of the offensive line? Based on what I have seen with Eric, he seem to think the line is better than what most people think. While I cannot disagree with the film he shows or even his expertise, the eye test tells me the line play is not great. The average yards is 2.1 yds./run. Some of it can be running backs missing the holes, and some can be the play call, but man, 2.1 yds./run..., it has to be some of the line play. I agree, with your assessment that he is a valuable backup with his versatility. He also plays hurt. He played hurt last year and is playing hurt this year. Kudos for him being gutsy.
Nice job great analysis. Gotta vent tho...here we go...Suffering As a fan since 82 I really wish we get humiliated beat down bad. Maybe then some change will come until then we will continue to be a barely playoff team for years to come. Need a new GM NOW. Of course, I want to win, but no change will come unless this gets ugly. Just good enough to give you hope and break your heart. Cruel to give you hope when there is none. Season's over been over since week 2. Tua is not the problem but just about everything else is...
Ah Liam.... you didnt even mention the 2 TDs that we could have had if he could block his man down field. Achane's TD should have been a few plays earlier if Liam could block his guy and the Waddle screen before our 4th down TD should have been a TD if Liam could again just keep his block.
It's not supposed to be a good draft for offensive linemen I hope they go after Mekhi Becton! He is looking like one of the better guards in the league this year and he will be a free agent.
His good reps he is just doing his job. His bad reps he is tripping all over himself and killing plays. I would prefer to move on from him but agree he could at least be a backup if he comes cheap
He’s weak, clumsy and has short arms for a linemen. All his cons when he was coming out the draft. I’ve never seen a guard turned around or on the ground as much as Liam is in one game, let alone every game.

Love your content Ryder! Really hope you blow up big time and get more opportunities with this channel dude.

The play you said was his best his guy still made the tackle.
He blocked 2 guys tho and his guy made the tackle 7 yards down the field.

2:02 that's just good defensive play, pull blocks often look just like this
Ryder I haven't been able to psyc myself up to watch this yet ..... so I'll comment blind just to help your algorithm ..... lol

To an extent I agree the OL is playing better than people think but I'm not as high as he is overall on the OL.

Can confirm Icheburg on the ground screenshot on twitter 🤣
Ryder, great news imo OBJ getting released lol
Ryder, if a change is made, should it be Wynn in for Jones straight up or Wynn in for Jones and then Jones sliding to replace Eichenbegh?
2023 next year...2024 next year...2025 next year

I respectfully disagree. Liam is a bottom feeder. Time and time again Liam is the weak link. Install Wynn.

I agree he is a serviceable back up. But once Jackson went out
he lost some Rhythm
9:0 he needs to just latch better. If he stays on 94 and rides him to the sideline it's a win
Why is Liam even on the team??? Liam
Both need to go. Jones kinda sucks too
They are backups at best.
And had he not traded up, Grier could have still picked Creed Humphrey, who seemingly every Dolphins fan knew was going to be a stud.
Hopefully we can resign him

The guy is trash…
