My husband, Eric Tinney, grew up at Toketee Falls. His father, Joseph Tinney, was Head Supervisor PP&L Pacific Northwest now retired and they lived at Toketee Control Station. They have School there for Toketee Community but Eric attended Glide High School having to travel bus Toketee Glide, he spent Summers building hiking paths throughout the mountainous region there, sometimes doing firewatch up high in Tower for Forest Service, plus occassional Search & Rescues for lost and injured hikers. We enjoyed our Honeymoon in the beautiful serenity in those Trees. I doubt that there's anyone more familiar with this area than my Eric.
