Have more faith in the poison! With detonator, every Licorice is 4 damage, and every Licorice past the first adds ~1-2 additive damage on every subsequent turn the enemy takes. 5 for 2 is insane value, even against enemies with poison resistance, you just need to have faith that it will scale and send it
There was one time I got a super buffed oroboros using an undying black goat, got over 120 teeth, then got a whole ton of golden pelts. Ironically, I lost that game due to an overflow of pelts. I still have the videos on my Switch.

The best cards for jester are cards that don't use dice (modify reroll give) because you can get through a lot of them it allows you to have a big deck without the problem of not having die

I feel like the strat is upgrading Bops, as they make it so that they are dice neutral, and you want more copies of dice neutral cards rather than a few multi-use dice neutral ones for the sake of consistency.
Boops, not bops! Bops are the cards you want to delete, since they're hard to use (you can't put 1s generated from snapped Bumps into them) ...Jester terminology is confusing

@@espadadearthur1174 Yeah. Inventor and Witch are the only characters that are actually quite difficult to use. One might maybe consider thief because you have to work with a Limit Break that is bad without the proper moves, but he's still so much easier.
I'd say that Poison, Lock (pretty rare) and Freeze are the most interesting ones. Weaken/Shock are okay and Fire is fairly boring and mainly just a little extra damage in another build. There's probably at least one status effect I've forgotten though.
yeah you forgot about curse, which is also very rare. if you had enough variety of status effects, like a combo of lock shock and freeze, you can eat away at your opponents dice

FYI the “strong against” cuts the damage in half but rounds up. So when the dryad had 3 poison it did 2 damage because 3/2=1.5 rounded up to 2. Then next turn without additional poison is 2/2=1 then 1/2=.5 round up to 1.
This game is great, but my only issue is that I've been watching so much of this game that the bright colors and energetic music get garish. Watching around 60 episodes of northernlion play this, and now another 20 episodes... it's hard on the eyes. It's really a testament to the quality of the game that I'm willing to watch SO MUCH of it that the look of the game itself is getting tiring.
if you're looking to play more 20 Minutes Till Dawn, might I recommend a run I like to call Spin To Win? I won't spoil the exact build you'd want to make this happen, but I will say that you'll want to use Abby with the SMGs.
I wonder if tyler will be able to first try witch E4... Because that is IMO the hardest challenge in the game, although i was stuck on thief E4 for a little while too
Unlike almost everybody else who plays this game, Tyler's best character is the witch. I don't think he's going to need too much luck to win considering how things have been going.
"If I can beat hard mode with every single character in the game then I've basically mastered it" HAHA no. The bonus round can get diabolical with the rules that get paired up, you could reroll a bad rule into a rule that synergize with another to become rancid,
bonus round can have good rules and also has parallel universe cards mixed in with normal cards which can lead to op builds, unlike elim round where you kinda just die if skeleton rolls two sixes
since you only get one Finale card (and no, Copy is not allowed on it), and it always go to the very end of the deck, there's never a reason to ignore it. Always take it when you find one.
it would be nice if you could upload the boring episodes of Dicey Dungeons, either after your done all the fun episodes or you could just upload them to your vods channel, because your Dicey Dungeons videos are always a blast to watch.
Hey Tyler, have you heard of Defend The Bits TD? It came on Early Access a few days ago and have been really enjoying my time with it. It's basically voxel Bloons in terms of gameplay. Would recommend a peek at if you're looking for something TDlike that isn't Bloons
Got a bunch of stuttering in the video, checked on a few resolutions and devices. Not sure if it's an encoding thing or something but it's a bit confusing at first. Copycat fight at 13:52 is a good example. Just saying something so that you know if you don't. I've actually really enjoyed the game, but thief episode 2 is so far my bane. I just can't clear it despite having like 19 other episodes completed including all warriors episodes

Poison can do mad damage but it doesn't really come to that. Without some crazy shielding you aren't surving 11 turns to deal full poison. I once used claw with a 6 instead of liquorice when I had 10 posion stacked. The liquorice would give me 6 extra dmg(12 poison vs 11 poison+6dmg) because I knew I wouldn't get to 6 turns before killing (or dying).
Strat of the Jester is snapping pairs and getting rid of cards that don't repeat. You upgrade Bumps. I don't like Finales, because without a Finale, cards come back.
correct me if im wrong but isnt poison actually pretty op? like, 4 poison does 10 damage over 4 rounds, but the stacklimit is endless so you actually can deal huge amounts of damage over the course of just a couple of rounds with a high enough stack (and lower stacks are still better than most cards)
I would say I’m shocked that the witch is a fav of yours but I couldn’t be surprised. It’s a very interesting and tactical way to play the game and I see why people like it. Except episode two witch. So far my least favorite episode for a character I’m already ehhh about. More power to you
Everybody is talking about how hard witch 3 and 4 are, but I think some of the inventor ones are worse, mostly because they are far more boring then witch and you barely have any control. In the elimination round you can sometimes die no matter what you do if the enemies get good rolls

Insryption theory you actually play as the tooth fairy, that's why I always overkill despite the fact that I would never use the teeth

BTW, yes this is "hard" mode, but the game does have a thing called "hard mode" episode later one, which is a lot harder than this :).
Not really, Bonus Round HMs are much, much easier than the episode 4s, because of the bonus round rules and you've got the PU equipment as well.

The only challenge I have still not completed in this game after so many hours of playing it is the hard mode Witch episode. That is a nightmare
