This kid is definitely electric and has fun and is bringing electricity and fun to the entire Reds club.
I agree 100% and would add he’s bringing that energy to the entire league.
Hope fully he can get hot again
Goin to the Sunday game against Baltimore got my 44 jersey me and my sons 1st mlb game I can’t wait
So excited for you and your sons! It's a great ballpark. Let's go Reds!
@@billyb6922 Have fun! your very lucky
Don't forget to get a First Game certificate for your son. Ask an usher how. They're kinda cool!
@@dogs24165 thanks for the tip I sure will! Any other tips ?
Elly de cruz un fenómeno 🇩🇴🔥💪💪
Dude's opposite field power is awesome from both sides of the plate. He's definitely fun to watch.
One of his homers was lefthanded, opposite field velocity of 107 MPH. Could be the next Mickey Mantle.
My favorite player to watch in the MLB right now
Cruz is fun to watch, just incredible
On my last day at the University of Cincinnati this year, I watched De La Cruz hit his seventh home run. I'm not even a Reds fan, and he's just so electric. You have to go see him if you can.
This Is Like Watching Hank Aaron , Pete Rose and Deion Sanders All Wrapped Up In The Same Body !!! De La Cruz Is Unreal !!!
I go to Great American a few times every year and the excitement level right and hype right now is almost like the 1990 season when we went wire-to-wire. I’m loving all the young talent and foresee a powerhouse for years to come.
Its Elly’s time buddyyyyyy 💥💥
I don't think I've ever seen anyone like him -- the complete package.
Then you don’t watch baseball. There’s a guy who throws 102mph from the stretch, splitter, sinker, slider….and hits with more power than dela Cruz. And is almost just as fast. His name? Shohei Ohtani. And he’s playing right now. Dela Cruz is really electric no doubt. But he’s an Alfonso Soriano 2.0. We’ve since it before. He’s the Alfonso Soriano of his generation. Not a 100yr player like Ohtani is.
@@marcusc5682 Okay, you win. You watch more baseball than I do. Have a nice day.
guys like him is why we love baseball! ese muchacho la pasa bien jugando la pelota!!!
Exactly! De La Cruz has so much fun playing. I feel like he isn't worried about stats and all that. He's in it for the game. To get the wins when they can and enjoy his time playing. mi hija es dominicana y le encanta el fastpitch. elly aquí afuera inspirador
Early MVP consideration
And that - was just this month...
I like these type of ball players. Stay away from the DL and don't get long ball happy. Your legs are your biggest weapons, Elly. Play solid D, steal 70-80 and hit 20 HRs and you might be a candidate for MVP.
MVP! MVP!
This man is just what a baseball player is right here 🙂↔️😮💨
Dude is gonna steal 100 bases this year at this pace. Unreal.
マイケル・ジョーダンはMLBにチャレンジしたが、こんな活躍がしたかったに違いない
i love elly ❤️
he is a breath of fresh air for the game today...kid is epic
New baseball fan here does a in the park home run count as a regular home run. Sorry if that’s a silly question
Yes it does
And a In-Field Home run is better in my eyes
This comment right here, shows how AMAZING ELLY IS TO WATCH!!!
The defense didn't commit any errors on the play, so he gets an official HR
@zachagee6608 I agree an in the field home run is so impressive! The speed is they have to have is incredible. My girls play fastpitch, 14u... our last game one of ours hit an in the field grand slam. It was so exciting!
Future superstar!
Remember when Pirates fans said O’Neil was better? 💀
He's A Future All Star Also Just Like My Man Christopher Morel
So… this is what happens when you turn the bat loose, things happen !!!! AND notice how he turns his hips into the ball as he swings…hence the power and torque. This is the absolute basics we were taught in little league baseball and moving forward into HS ball. He has not forgotten the fundamentals and instead, perfected them at the pro level and on his way to becoming great !!!!
AWESOME TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE!!!
Go get’m young man. Absolutely awesome !!!
Only 22 years old... Thankful he's a Red!
Their announcer has been waiting for this type of player his entire career 😂😂😂
Wooooooooo!!🎉
my goat
El hombre es un espectáculo 👍💪🔥🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This kid is definiently up there next to Shohei Ohtani. There’s no doubt in my mind that they’re the two top best players in the MLB right now.
I have his 2022 1st Bowman Chrome Rookie auto card, saving it hoping he blossoms ever more
man this guy is fun to watch
すげー、広島にこんな選手がいたとはな、、
Incredible
Elly De La Cruz is the Astros Daddy!!!!!! Hahaha!!!!!! Cry more!!!!!!
Worse record than oakland A’s 🔥🔥🥶🥶🗣️🗣️‼️‼️
Eliz eres un máquina en uno de los deporte más difíciles que existen
Amazing player
The in the park home run... after he hit first base he was committed.
I hope he keeps his speed up. He does look like he gained a couple of pounds from last year.
今一番クールな選手👍
Future Hall of Famer
De lo mío 🇩🇴
8 Home Runs!!!! C'mon MLB! Get your facts right!
La cocoa 🔥🔥🔥
swear this was already posted did they have to re upload⁉️😭
April Compilation I think
The original included a clip of Bryan de la Cruz who plays for the Marlins. They had to take it out i assume.
6:43 Elly soft tossed it side arm and it was still a hard throw
In the second part of this video, Elly had a really weird check swing hit but it worked out for the better.
8 hrs actually
rookie of year
He’s like a tatis slash jazz
Reminds me of a taller Rickey Henderson. Power and speed. But we will see.
I just can’t believe he plays for my team
*The Randy Moss of MLB*
Super Man 👞
look at my goat elly man 😭
Still waiting on the May highlights
明日のドジャース戦楽しみ!
Aaalllstaarrr starter
So if he had his foot on 3rd base it still would have been safe?
El nuevo Tatis jr
Just randomly got to thinking, hmm, i wonder what Elly is doing this year 🤔 wasn't disappointed 😊 (paid zero attention to baseball so far this season) up next....Ohtani😊
Forget Ohtani.
Why are they saying his name day la cruz?, shouldn't it be said de la cruz?
De is pronounced “day” not “dee”
Because they're American commentators?
@@kentonschroer2347 i didn't mean dee, i meant de.. and de isn't pronounced day in spanish..
@@MichaelWalker-wu2pq that is probably why
The Cincinnati Deads. Worst offense in MLB. So pitiful
De La Cruz has that Fernando Tatis type of play and swagger
One replay against the Padres!!!!😂LFGSD
Mvp no mike trout
Can we get a compilation of all the times he's been thrown out? A lot of base running mistakes as well
We can't
Don't cry 😂😂😂😂😂
When your an aggressive baserunner your bound to get caught stealing at times. Look and Acuna last year, was caught stealing the most yet led the league in stolen bases
He's also 22 and going to make some mistakes. This kid is electric. If he keeps improving like he is then he's going to be GREAT!
He's been caught twice, enjoy your 4 second video kitty cat
This dude is just electric man. So good for the game of baseball
