    If you can shed some light on the level of vibrations after putting this setup, that would be helpful! I have the new himalayan and I am a little disappointed with the buzzing nature, especially above 4k rpm. Does the straight pipe with the stock exhaust increase or decrease the vibrations??

    Hi Bro, I have himalayan 450 kamet white. It was giving me a mileage of 30-32 kmpl from the time of delivery. After my first service the mileage is dropped too much to 26-27. what could be the reason. I am not a person who rides at very high speed or at high rpm. What to do. Should I ride more and check. Because for a small spin of 15-20km the range shown in the meter is falling 30-35km which was not the case earlier. The service people doesnt have any clue on this.

    the biggest CON which you havent mentioned is the adverse effect on the environment. The Decat is there for a purpose and with this u are defeating it. Its unfortunate to see such recommendations at the cost of the environment knowing that its illegal as well. Im not sure what a 2-3% bump in performance is going to make in ur life but screwing up with the original bike is always a bad idea. Sad and dissapointing!

    • @gentlemenandmotorcycles
      @gentlemenandmotorcycles  6 місяців тому

      @@chandonuppal you are not 100% correct, these catalytic converters work at their 100% for only one year or little more, rare metals inside that Catalytic converter starts to deplete . After that it will anyways be making that kind of pollution but with the mesh still inside your engine will not breath freely. If you see my video i have said i do not recommend this to everyone, this is only for some one who is genuinely interested in getting max out of their motorcycle. Also modern engines are anyways emitting very less harmful gases.

    • @theevilnoob96
      @theevilnoob96 6 місяців тому

      @@gentlemenandmotorcycles How will the engine not breathe free? Air intake isn't from the cat, engine exhaust back pressure is also important.

    • @gentlemenandmotorcycles
      @gentlemenandmotorcycles  6 місяців тому

      @@theevilnoob96 not every combustion cycle is perfectly balanced, in that case gases don’t vent out in the small duration when the valve is open , since there is already gases inside the chamber in next cycle you will have less Air, and this is an indefinite cycle, there is a o2 sensor just outside the cylinder head that takes the reading and send it ECU, then what ECU trying to maintain stoichiometry, reduces the fuel ratio trying to balance it up, this process which is most prone in high RPMs will make your engine push the RPMs down, now when the exhaust is free flow, there is less chances of gases not getting vent out.

    • @VirtualTech
      @VirtualTech 6 місяців тому

      @@gentlemenandmotorcyclesso you're basically saying the ECU will compensate for the catalytic converter removal and the bike doesn't need to be dyno tuned?

    • @gentlemenandmotorcycles
      @gentlemenandmotorcycles  6 місяців тому +2

      @@VirtualTech not exactly, Dyno tuning will get you more out of it, what ECU does is adjust the fuel input based on the reading of O2 sensor to bring the bike in stoichiometry, but what dyno tuning does is increase that threshold limit
