Yes, I felt faster today but that could be due to awesome new stud traction. Only minus is they feel a bit sticky on the surface of the ball.
imho it's not needed for well kept grass fields or newer AG fields. AG fields that are not too old have good cushion. however this would be nice for run down old AG fields that hurt your knees after playing on it. Also as basketball player so I love Zoom air, for running/training too. Happy Nike is bringing this to the pitch!
I remember I had a previous model and the collar pushed into my Achilles heal and that constant pressure got painful. Wonder if this one has the same problem

I wouldn't say there's much of a difference there, although the padding in the heel has been reworked for the latest generation. I never had any issues with the previous ones though.
Do you reckon Nike are waiting for the season to start before the players slip into the new Superflys/Vapor? Almost all notable Mercurial players on pre-season tours are still wearing the Progress pack colourway from the previous generation

I hate this chunky heightened toebox that the newer boots have. I really liker vapor 12 and got used to vapor 14, but can’t really stand vapor 15 or puma ultras.
How much space do you have in your boot? I have about a fingers width in mine. I have the adidas predator freak + and .1, but the + is a 9 and is super snug. .1’s feel way better because I have more space. Is that too much space though?

I bought these and i got injured pretty bad from using them Sunday. There is blood under both my toe nails, can’t even walk. It’s the right size and everything. I came here thinking maybe i should have watched a review before buying, maybe someone already spoke about it. Maybe its just me but i would not recommend them at all.
I found the air zoom bubble very uncomfortable after training in them. Has anyone else noticed this? Do I need to break them in more or tie my boots not as tight? I switched to the last gen superfly once we went full field.
The argument for not needing foam is not because the ground is already padded its that extra padding actively weakens your foot and therefore your foot health and performance.
Merc became wider and comfy, but in return lost the sleeky tight uncompromising for speed sensation (like jay mike said) which was the main character of merc. This started with vapor 14. I think I like speedflow+ better now
@Javier Perez no need to compare through the video as I have a pair of my own merc15 and x+. The tight sensation of the upper has definitely decreased throught out the merc series for me.
I have really slim feet and the superflys were the only reason why I’d wear them. They still fit me wide and I’m still trying to find an alternative to the superflys. This is not good news for me but I bet it will be for others.
@@skyler_maldog I personally don’t like the fit of pumas but the ultras do fit close to a superfly. My dad used to wear puma and i didn’t like how they fit mainly because of the studs that were too high for my liking because I played in turf during highschool.

@Javier Perez Even back in the F50 days, the Mercurial always had the edge when it came to lockdown and responsiveness. Adidas has the habit of completely reinventing their speed boot silo. Such as the X15 to X16, 2014 to 2015 Adizero, and X19 to X Ghosted. Nike with the Mercurial has been consistently refining the concept.

No they have more of a plastic feel and if your on any type of grass including turf it should be fine
