I skipped out on buying an NA1 1991 NSX because I was worried I couldn't find someone to work on it - it was going to be my first sportscar. Bought a 37,000km AP1 S2000 instead. I still regret not buying the NSX, but at the same time, I don't ever regret buying the S2000 and plan to keep it forever.
Sometimes I dont feel like getting dressed to go for a drive in my AP1, I then come across a video like this.... I get up, start the car, and go for a drive... Butt ass naked.
Place your hands at 9:15. Your hands shall never move on the wheel. This way your brain always know where your wheels are pointing at. Saved me a few times in almost 60 000 miles with my S2000.
@@jfpaul2908 exactly! The s2000 has a very small lock to lock wheel ration so basicaly you never have to move your hands, except if you make a 90 degree turn.

I'm an anesthesiologist in CA and I have watched many of your videos on Ultrasound blocks. I happen to own a '98 NSX which is why I think this video popped up on my feed. Very awesome that you are into Honda sports cars as well! I enjoyed all your videos, both work and car related!
Hi Doctors Blues, I dis not have a chance to compare the two, I have only a AP1 Série 2, nevertheless due to the gauge/jib (Size) différences and engine architecture , on top of the philosophie and technology of this two cars, i can imagine the S2000 is more agile and efficient on twisty small roads when the NSX is better on more open roads Nice video, like the sound of the 2 engines playing together on this twisty roads. Amazing video! However, you never seem to be driving the S2000 at it's limit. It appears you are always keeping a certain distance between the two cars. A bit too much time holding the shift knob and not keeping two hands on the wheel, tells me you are not driving at your limit either. Regardless, I think both cars are, and sound, awesome. I would chose the NSX, since I've owned my fair share of 2-seater convertibles over the years, and pop-up headlights are just so cool!
Lol. YES! That is difficult for a tall guy, however. But I promiss - I will try again! Would you recommend a course for that technique? Greetings and thanks watching!
I have both the NSX and S2000 both are so special to me. NSX feels so planted and the S2000 feels like a pure go cart. Always a joy that puts a huge smile on my face when I drive either one. The raw refined engineering used to create these cars by the elite designers for Honda in the 90’s and early 2000 shines through. And unfortunately can’t and will never be duplicated 😢 because of all the new emissions rules and regulations plus the push for EV.
What for? Is it so important? Is additional danger needed here? If no one from the opposite direction is in your way, there is no need to stick to one lane.

That is why I love the NSX more, as it pushes you to get better and focus on driving a 100%. You are terribly slow in turns.. NSX value is curve speed..
