@strategygame40k179 We will soon be getting one. That W40k space marine 2 looks very promising. I hope I'll be able to make a space wolf spacemarine and some of their gear. I always like those round shield with runes engraved on them and their runeaxes they wield. The class I'm going for is the one that uses that of sword and shield. But other then that I don't see a new W40k RTS coming soon. Tbh the backlash might have killed the dow franchise
Can't believe ppl complained about the art direction and feel of this game instead of just asking for more content. This game looks amazing even in todays standards

Which grants me the ability to create a pox cloud, by taking the faithful of nurgle, and expelling their plague spores into the air, Using healing energy, to help the faithful, while projecting the spores into the enemy divisions. Nurgle gifts me the most resplendent strands of Malignant DNA

I knew the old Warhammer games, wow this looks amazing, I've been playing a card game called Warhammer 40000: Warpforge, I recommend it if you like card games too

I'm on an RTS withdrawal here and I just checked out Stormgate and whatnot. What a disappointing landscape for RTS, and the promising ones like DORF, Dust Front, and Tempest Rising are still a ways out. I completely forgot about Dawn of War 3 and looking at it now... I have a new appreciation for it. It's flawed sure, it broke lore sure and it failed on many fronts like campaign, but MAN look at the production quality on that, it's beautiful even by today's standards compared to the recent ones that have come out. I love the Blizz RTSs but those have been abandoned too. They could have salvaged this, because they clearly engineered this game heavily because it looks and feels good to play, too bad it just never got more content. Sigh.. anyway, I'm reinstalling anyway. Just going around reliving the glory days, and yeah I consider this game to be a part of that. Kind of like the last hurrah of RTS before it fell off. Stll hoping for resurgence tho. Sorry Dawn of War 3, the gamers were waaay too harsh on you.
Your partially right but I wish it got a game mode like darkcrusade or soulstorm campaign against ai in world conquering scheme. They could just start with some factions and extend it like they did to dark crusade to soulstorm. Thats many still play the old dawn of war but with mods singleplayer or multiplayer
The Orks and Eldar factions are actually fine and lore compliant to an acceptable degree but for the other factions they should have changed the mood or vibe to more grimdark. DW 2 was kind of colourful too (although not cartoony like this one) but the character voice, reaction and music makes it grimdark. A few things they could have done to fix this game. Like more custom weapons and larger unit size as exclusive tech branches. They had a rough gem but they were too lazy to finish it. It's too joyous. This is not Warhammer.
