Apologia studios is the best place for online sermons . I wish my local church pastor was this passionate at the exposition of God’s word.
pray for him. He may be growing weary in ministry. It can reach a point of drudgery...just as it can for members of the congregation. Some people go into the ministry, but don't really know the Lord.

Keith Green died 3 years before I got saved. And I didn't even discover him until years after that! I guess it's better that way. I would've been heartbroken if I'd come to love him and then learned of the horrible crash. As always, God gives me music right when I need it. It came along at a time when my heart was growing dull and cool. Not yet cold. But cooling. I am grateful for his ministry, short (by our standards) though it was.

I have been in anguish over this very thing for the past few months. My prayers have been this exact “how did I end up here?”. This sermon is an answer to prayer and an immense blessing! Glory be to God.

Everything we do for God is spiritual. Everything COUNTS with Him. You serve your family (Proverbs 31:10-), serve your husband and children and are faithful to them.
In no way is that prayer a continuationist prayer. Do you even know what cessasionists believe?
@@johnmadison1943yeah he's asking clearly for specific revelation from the written word which would be the practical out working of receiving from the spirit of revelation eph1:17 and/or word of knowledge from 1cor12 that all calvinists deny for today who hold to a cessationist view. So you can read the text and take it for its original meaning/intent but to draw specific personal revelation would then be continuationist by definition

The world cannot hate us, as it hated him first! No? I've wondered on this bit awhile. Maybe memory fails me. It's hard to understand as I have felt hated, but in truth as Christians, we are at spiritual war with people still made in God's image deep down, the truth still in their heart, though suppressed.

You Tube is run by pagans who probably interrupt Christian/conservative content more than other types of content. The devil doesn't want you to learn from this teacher and gets you all frustrated and in a sour mood over commercials. Just skip them and keep viewing!
I’ve always wanted to ask dr. White about this passage I was always taught that to do your first work again was to get rebaptized now I don’t believe that and had always felt weird about it but never had a different answer to what it meant to do your first work over again
The loss of first love is revealed in the loss of the first works. In other words, love for Jesus is revealed by works of love (Galatians 5:14). To lose the first love is to lose the first works. To do the first works is to recover the first love. The first epistle of John reveals the relationship between love and works but it also describes a personal relationship to Jesus (I John 3:16-18; 5:3; II John 6).
You have to repent and be baptize in the name of Jesus Christ and follow what he gave his apostles. If you back slide repent try to pray and fast. After you get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ then you don’t have to get baptized again. Just repent and try to live the holy way.

Love your channel james white i'm a fan but i just have to say just my opinion i don't think you should have so many ads on your youtube channel when you're giving a sermon making money off of giving a sermon you can make money off of books of avalor weighs enough of a sermon that is a little low
Apologia Church has no ability to control the number or the content of ads played on their UA-cam channel. This is controlled by UA-cam. Apologia has also been demonitized by UA-cam because they do not follow all of UA-cam's guidelines and favor the truth over UA-cam's agenda.
Why would a pastor have tattoos? Makes no sense, I dont care how many crosses you put on your body, I understand if before you were secular, tattoo shops are just secular as they get.
Apostles had no tattoos, and they turned the world upside down.

He's a Calvinist/Theistic Determinist.... God made him do every tattoo. In his world there can be no other explanation. WCF, "God has ordained whatsoever comes to pass". According to his doctrine, no one can come to, or believe in, God unless God has predetermined they would. BUT the same is true for those to leave the faith... their apostacy can only be by God's decree because he only gave them a false/temporary 'evanescent grace'. And, once accepting that God does that to some... one can never know if God has already planned to do it toyou someday.... He cannot be trusted.
The the same is true for all of those who repent and return... It will not happen unless God has decreed their repentance. It is irrational for him, or anyone else, to believe White's sermon will have any effect on whether or not God has decreed someone to return to their 'First Love'. The argument that God decrees the 'means as well as the ends' is a red herring. The doctrine literally has the supreme creator of the universe playing checkers with himself. The Cognitive Dissonance of Calvinism is mind-numbing.

No, there was no such split in his mind when he was doing it. Because it was a spirit speaking through that woman.
Likewise Jesus Christ wasn’t trying not to offend money changers of the Temple when He turned the tables upside down. It is a danger much bigger than to be angry at a moment( which actually stems from vanity “ I don’t want to look bad, what will people say if they see an angry Christian”. But it’s not about what, it’s about Who. Who pushes away what. If it’s Grace pushes away unclean spirit - everything is right) danger of giving in, of not being strong in the Lord, of idolatry, of people pleasing( which is demon pleasing in disguise), of Proverbs 25:26.
There is a protection in Judaism from falling into idolatry for the reasons mentioned above. There is a rule: “You are not allowed to have mercy on the wicked people” If they don’t repent- Not allowed! Otherwise you become guilty in the eyes of God as an associate. You can not, may not approve of or not show disapproval of a certain behavior in a certain moment.

I don't like when preachers link the Lord knowing our deeds with volunteer work for the church. It seems to be very self-serving. James White is paid by the church and the seminary. He's paid for debates and such. He gets honorarium. He's a wealthy person. I've never heard him say one thing he did for "the least of them." He tends to be sarcastic and snide at times.

I can't think of a more man centered doctrine then Calvinism.

The Bible never means what it says and everything always comes back to knowledge the calvinist has that isn't available to everyone else or described in scripture.
They follow a man’s exalting tradition of John Calvin.
A true Christian trusts God to perfectly convey His Word and that His Word is true.
A true Christian doesn’t need to add "kinds" or "types" at the end of sentences that disagree with Calvinist theology.
A true Christian doesn’t need to declare God has a secret will that contradicts scripture to uphold Reformed theology.
This is the difference between the Bible believer and the Calvinist.
One of the main points of Calvinism is that the elect were predestined to be saved prior to them believing. This would mean that salvation is secured outside of Christ!
So how can a Calvinist who's totally depraved be assured of salvation without relying on totally depraved faculties.
A Calvinist say they are no longer totally depraved.
Ok well how do you know?
The faculties that were at least once totally depraved testify to your new heart?
OK how do you know your totally depraved heart isn't deceiving you?
The Mormon is deceived. Why aren't you? Because of the good things you do?
That's human experience that must be processed by a totally depraved heart with no way of knowing if your heart is changed unless your totally depraved heart tells you it's new.
So how does the totally depraved individual know Christ died for him and he's therefore been unconditionally elected without having to rely on human experience processed with a heart and mind that are totally depraved?

48:20 I am sorry mr James White. But can a regenerate Christian who is a vessel of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit Who Hates sinners- unregenerate men. How can that Christians not hate a person who is doings those vicious things? Of course, it is a different hate, it is a hate to break that pride of that person, a move to exorcise evil that person, to expel evil from that person. But from the outside it may look like you want to kill the guy. It is like Baptism by Fire if The Hand of God moves you.

At least, I guess no one has any doubts by now why they were trying to infringe on the Second Amendment of the US constitution. There is a book of a Russian author Vladimir Soliviev if I am not mistakenly. It is called “Three conversations”. And one character tells a story, answers a question “what he hopes God will have mercy on him for, what one deed he hopes to have mercy for”?( They were not talking about the doctrine of Salvation, or maybe Soloviev wasn’t that doctrinally literate, maybe he was, I don’t know)
And he tells a story how Turks were prosecuting Armenians. And how his platoon walked in to a village with Armenian women and children slaughtered. Babies killed with pitchforks.
And he became so inflamed with indignation, so that he charged his platoon, they caught up with the Turks and they killed all of them, cut them to pieces with sabres. And he concluded that this is the event of his life he hopes the Lord will cover all his sins for.

James White and Apologia Church teach false doctrines. Any elementary reading of Sacred Scripture will prove this to anyone that cares to take the time to read what the Bible teaches instead of what Apologia teaches. The Salvation of your soul is at stake. All you have to do is compare Acts chapter 2 and Gal. 5:19-21 to the heresies that Apologia teaches and you on your way to preventing them from handing your soul over to Satan. Acts 2 is the Biblical Blueprint for Salvation. Any teaching that is contrary to that is heresy. Gal. 5 teaches that you are not once saved always saved. Only Satan would tell you not to believe that sin is bad. Only Satan would tell you that you can commit those sins in Gal. 5 and still be in Communion with God. You should run far and fast from Apologia. The Catholic Church teaches in the Bible that the Sacraments are necessary for the Salvation of your soul. Embrace the Sacraments, that is God's will.
