Well done wow...Sentinel is one of my alltime favs but i want to go to Temple soo badly with someone with more experience for sure.I know high up that class 5 is ,,definately sweaty hands stuff..Fab video ..amazing shots ....now i have to make it happen:)
You will make it happen!! Honestly, the trail is so worn in now that it's pretty difficult to get lost if conditions are good. Still read route descriptions before you go! Hope you have fun when you make the trip!😊
Nice, and the weather was extremely good. But could be very dangerous when something happens (lost in the fog for example) you need a climbing partner :-)
cool video, what kind of course did you take to differentiate between what type of rock you're scrambling on. you also look familiar...you weren't on west rundle this past wednesday were you?
We have a Canadian Rockies Geology book that we like to flip through occasionally! As for WEOR, it could have been Alex. She rock climbs there frequently!
Huh, is that really class 5? Curious because I want to do this with my fiancé and she has limited experience in scrambling. That section you mentioned was class 5 looks more like class 3 IMO… what were your thoughts on the difficulty?
Yes, the bears are for sure an issue to be aware of. I tagged along with another party of people that I met in the parking lot to ensure I was safe through the bearitory. Banff National Park recommends parties of 4 or more.
Aha yeaaaa that was taken on a phone camera. We are thinking about investing in a decent camera with a gimbal for next years climbing season! Thanks for watching 😁
This can for sure be completed without ropes! There is one small down climb section (if you're tall it may not even feel like your down climbing at all) but other than that it is pretty much just a very long inclined walk. It's deemed to be a moderate scramble just because of the variability in terrain that you will encounter in terms of solid rock vs some loose stuff where you just have to be cautious with your footing.
Respect & Salute🎉❤
June 2024 it will be my turn to do it 🤩🔥💪🏻
Great stuff. I hope to do Temple this summer. Thanks for sharing!

How long did this take to get to the top of Mount Temple?
It took me 9 hours to go from car to car. 5 hours to summit at my pace. :)
When you did the climb i might try it on june 16 ?
Depending on conditions, June could be early still. Hope you were able to get up there!

Can this be completed without ropes or do you need to be tied off for the really steep areas.
