Cleansing Prayer 14:42 Lord Jesus Christ I cover myself in your most precious blood and I bind and send to the foot of the Cross the spirit of [anxiety, anger, depression, etc...] that you may do with it there what you will.
This is a great explanation of what demons can and cannot do. I had an exorcism on March 22, 2012, and from March 6, 2010 until then I was experiencing awareness of the separation of my intellect and spirit from them. It is very hard to explain on a comment, but yes, everything that you just explained makes so much sense to me. I honestly have not been able to talk to anyone about my experience, but I also shy away from learning anything about demons. I personally only want to grow in a relationship with God. It is so much more fun.
@@yeshua1stAlso the works of Fr. Vincent Lampert, Fr. Carlos Martins and Msgr. Stephen Joseph Rossetti, all very humble shepherds in the service of God and His people 🙏🏻 Thank you Jesus for your holy priests.
I actually have not seen any videos from Fr. Rippergers yet. I try not to search out videos on exorcisms or from exorcists, since the exorcism was very painful and traumatic to me. I rather focus on increasing my relationship with God and just loving him. Also @@yeshua1st , I would actually love to sit and talk about similar experiences if possible. I have never encountered anyone who also has had an exorcism, I guess because its not a great experience to have, and not something worth bragging about, so many people who would have them would naturally shy away from talking about their experience, myself included for a long time.
I am not sure if I have seen any of their talks, but I do listen to the talks of Fr. Jim Blunt, who is the exorcist that did the exorcism on me, March 22, 2012. Actually, I think that it started the day before, and I celebrate the anniversary on the day that it ended, because I want to celebrate the day that I received freedom vs anything else.
"[demons] are constantly confronted by the fact that even though they rebelled against God, they're implicated in God's plans." this is something i really needed to hear.
Thanks Father Pine. This was very informative and inspiring. Also kudos to you for powering through the prolonged sirens in the background! Not easy especially when talking about complicated moral and theological topics!
I go back and forth between my 17 years of atheism and Catholicism, which is not the church I grew up in. So there's so many hurdles and so much depending on timing (RCIA being a real stumbling block) Fr. Pine has been a big help with my patience. While I wait for everything to align, I have come to watch Fr. Pine and reframe these frustrating delays down to time in which I can build up my understanding.
Please watch the following video’s - the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins. The Papacy can not be destroyed. Don’t call protestant’s Christian! Following padre Pio. God bless.
That is a significant duration for you to have sustained interest in potentially becoming catholic. Why wait? The stars aligning is self-serving, don't wait for perfection, aim for it.
If you grew up in the church, you surely were baptized and thus should not go through RCIA. RCIA is for unbaptized catechumens. Baptized Christians are meant to go through an adjacent / slightly different process.
@@christianwright8969 some churches have "Catholics come home" type programs, others do not. RCIA can be audited (participate without need of baptism or confirmation). Also due to some people not being well catechized as children may have poor dispositions and wish to learn everything they should have known in a convenient format. Plus you can support the other catechumens.
Wow, mind blown. Lots to think about… Very true how we have our own will. I’d say that many are not ready to open the door to what is not to our angels, saints and God… I agree, more heaven

I remember reading that when Satan tried to tempt Jesus, Satan’s limitations and powerlessness could be plainly seen. Satan had no idea of how Our Lord’s life would be lived out. He didn’t know when or where or how it would end and one of the main things he tried to elicit from Jesus was what lay ahead. He failed. Similarly for us, demons are limited in their knowledge and power unless we provide them with information.
Fr. Pine, perhaps you can answer this question for me? I was taught in Catholic school that God doesn't answer prayer coming from somebody in mortal sin, except, a repentant one. OTOH, I think the Blessed Mother had no such limits, and therefore will still hear prayers, and refer them to her Son, etc, and as we know, she cannot be denied if she were to do this. It seems if the first statement is sound, then she couldn't hear prayers either, say for personal things, because she would sort of undermine God, and perhaps we can assume she knows as well what the state of the soul is at the time of the prayer. You might pray to her, and just get what you asked for through perhaps ordinary chance, as God will allow even those in mortal sin at least some things to fall their way, etc. What do you think of this?
9:05 "The demons don't have access to our spiritual life... only God has acces to our spiritual life as creating it, sustaining.... and as inhabiting it as one inhabits a temple" - Fr., what happens in the case of a possessed person? Are they not inhabited by the demonic?

I expect he must, at least in part, have looked to the Suma. It is not without reason that Saint Thomas Aquinas is called the Angelic Doctor. The Thomistic Institute has a channel on UA-cam. Father Pine has done work there.
Demons come in tricky ways such as the following: 1 Timothy 4:1 KJV "Now the SPIRIT speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which GOD has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." The truth is: Ephesians 2:4 KJV "But GOD, who is rich in mercy, for HIS great love wherewith HE loved us, 5 even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us (made us alive) together with CHRIST, (by grace you are saved;) 6 and has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in CHRIST JESUS: 8 For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
It actually might be. I played it at .75 speed and it seemed much more natural. Idk, he does speak pretty fast already. He's a really smart guy and there are lots of great nuggets of truth in what he says, but I have to focus deeply to absorb when he speaks with such a rapid pace.
Catholics priests don’t talk enough and they are the more qualified, specifically the exorcists, you learn a lot from them and start to recognize the ir ways, you don’t need get obsessed or be fear if you stick to the Lord. And be virtuous and they cannot do anything to you, the moment you start sinning you get into a weak spot and call their attention because they are watchers of human nature.
This guy writes like he talks, I find it difficult to follow along when he talks (mostly because he puts things aside, strays, and lingers too long), but in writing this style works beautifully. I really like his books. They are so easy to follow and understand.
I was shocked that you denigrated exorcists in the first few minutes of your talk. Exorcists are blessed by our Holy Church to do the work of the Lord.
I think he meant people without such training who go on to pursue such. Not exorcists. Excorsists was just an example of those who do more holy work directly in that realm.
to clodachbob - C.S.Lewis was NOT Christian because he didn’t belong to the holy Catholic Church which is the ONLY CHURCH. Depending on where his heart was he might have been considered an anonymous Catholic but I leave that to Jesus and Mary!
