- British Columbia communities in the Cariboo are on edge Monday, due to the Antler Creek wildfire burning in the region.
"The Antler Creek wildfire is the biggest enemy," Ed Coleman, Mayor of the District of Wells told Global News.
On Sunday, 1,000 people in the District of Wells had to leave their homes, with 70 per cent of those being tourists, Coleman added, all from the Bowron Lake, Wells and Barkerville communities.

Local reputable wildlife rescue organizations like northern lights in Smithers must need extra volunteers and donations I don't know names of others in the region which are reputable.
Compassion for all people and wildlife in the areas. I donated more to wildlife rescue called northern lights in Smithers they rehab bears 🐻 and all other species. Ie. Burnt paws if anyone recommends other ones that are reputable please post thank-you good job firefighters and BC wild fire services
With all the money Justin Trudeau wasted, imagine how many water bombers planes could have been purchased. Those fires would never grow so big.

Yes our Liberal government has spent and wasted billions of dollars with no good results, bloated spending that helps no one, including sending billions to other countries, they could have used that money to create more resources to fight wildfires but instead they want to blame everything on their fake climate change crisis.
Who in their right minds “trusts the science” after COVID. Also if you’ve studied history maybe you should consider the role of “trust the science” in fascism and communism and the socialist terror of the last century. There’s a reason when the greatest generation made cartoons that showed the evil villain as a “mad scientist” or “mad professor” because that was their WW2 real life lived experience. The science community has allot of trust to EARN BACK if that’s possible when the activists take over from the truth seeking controlled skeptics.
