Awww poor Lyla. She just can't seem to catch a break. First off, her mom is an alcoholic and probably abusive towards her her whole life. And her dad, who she was probably closest to the most, is not here anymore, and to make things worse her on again, off again boyfriend Herman is extremely toxic, controlling and manipulative. Even after she just ended things with him, she decides to take him back. I thought that she would've opened her eyes in this situation. Why on God's green earth would she take Herman back after all he did to her? Hopefully Lyla will find her strength and finally leave Herman for good and be with Akira. ❌
Speaking of Herman, he's such a man child. He seriously has the audacity to come up with some childish way to get Lyla to respond to his text by hurting himself on purpose. Guys like Herman are not to be taken seriously because they refuse to grow up. He's practically begging for her to take him back because he knows that she'll say yes. Herman thinks that Lyla is weak and can't stand up for herself because of all the previous times that she probably has taken him back after numerous times, but there's gonna be a time where Lyla is actually gonna open her eyes for once and finally dump him, for good this time. His problem is that he thinks of himself as untouchable just because he's got money. Well, correction, his dad got money, Herman doesn't. And the fact that he threatened Akira by saying he's gonna have his dad fired from his dad's company if he was to come close to Lyla shows how weak Herman is. He's nothing without his dad's money and he thinks that by getting himself out of a certain situation, he feels that if he mentions his dad's name, that's his "Get Out Of Jail" free card to life. I'm pretty sure that Herman's dad hates his son's attitude. I wanna see the moment where Herman is left alone, broke and bruised. I just wanna see him get his well-deserved karma, hard. #nosympathyforHerman 👎
Christa and Hayden though, OMG. They're already fighting like a married couple already. It goes to show that they belong together and that's how most love stories start, from enemies to lovers, even if it may be one sided on Christa's end. She already can't stand Hayden because of the teasing that he's giving her and that he's in her way most of the time. Hayden should help Christa adopt the cat, even if her mom and brother won't allow it. Even Akira called them mommy and daddy to the cat which was a pretty matchmaking move. And Hayden's response to Christa accidentally liking his picture was hilarious, homeboy is already sprung by her. Make these 2 a couple already 🥰
Speaking of Akira, he's a great guy and he's really trying to help out the best way he can when it comes to his friends and those closest to him. It shows that in the flashback of the party that he was extremely uncomfortable with kissing Lyla as was Lyla, knowing that her and Herman were a thing. He doesn't wanna take advantage of her like Herman does and you can see that Akira wasn't willing to be around Herman because of his toxicity. Akira really wanted to talk to Lyla, knowing that she needed a shoulder to cry on, but as he expected, she took Herman back. Hopefully Akira will save Lyla from Herman and get together with her. 💕

Ya know, I have an old friend from high school (she's my son's Godmother) that had a boyfriend who threatened to delete himself if she left him. One day I was visiting her, and she lives on the ground floor of the apartment building. He lived across the street on the 5th floor. She broke up with him the night before. Anyway, she and I were talking and suddenly we heard him shouting out her name. We both look at him sitting at his window. He started to yell that if she doesn't get back with him, he's going to throw himself out of the window. She responded, and I quote "Well, your fat ass is going to bounce a few times off the floor before you die!" Then kept talking to me as if he didn’t exist 😂😂😂 He didn’t do it, and eventually left her alone 😂😂😂
