Jeff the Killer song, but I found a version someone had changed the voice to sound male, and that version sounded better because the voice was more congruent with who is supposed to be singing it. Nitpicking aside tho, this IS a very good song. Do you plan a male version of this song? And speaking of Jeff... which version of his origin story have you read? Or is this more based on his later legacies rather than his mental state?
I think the idea behind to fit it more to the image was to make him sound like a high-pitched teenage boy who can sing high notes in a way that normally only girls can to. So just like how a few people can pull that off in real life. Besides you can hear the male voice when it goes into the low notes.
First of all, thank you so much for loving this song. And yes, the voice is indeed male. I made it more high-pitched because high-pitched voices tend to be associated with angelic or good characters. This is perfect in this case because Jeff hasn’t always been the person he is today. The contrast between the high pitch and the dark tone enhances the contrast between good and evi as well. And in general, I love using high-pitched voices for male characters like that. As for the story, I’ve mainly read the popular version because I like it best too. I like how he always had a devilish side to him from the beginning, but the fire allowed the darkness in him to break out..
