- Based on the classic childrens book by E.B. White, this tale begins with the hatching of swan triplets to proud Trumpeter Swan parents. But their joy is short-lived when they discover that their son, Louie, cannot speak. Without his voice, Louie will be unable to compete for the affections of his love, Serena. With help from friends, Louie will discover his own unique talents which will help him find his place in the world.
Never seen the movie, but boy did I see this trailer every time I played Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

I remember back in 2005 my parents bought this movie for me and my brother. Little did I know that this was actually based off from a book. At that time I didn't know. Now that I am 25 years old and I just saw the trailer of this movie even though this one came out 2001, now I know was based off of a book. Me and my childhood memories hit me so hard. 😭
"Trumphet of the Swan" along with "The Princess and the Goblin", " The Snow Queen" and "Anastasia" are non-disney animated movies i watched in VHS format during my child-hood. I miss those times.
Anastasia is now Disney tho.

I remember seeing this trailer from 3 different Bear in The Big Blue House videos on VHS. Then later seeing it on the 2001 DVD of The Trumpet Of The Swan. Memories!

I saw this movie the day before I chose the trumpet for the instrument I would learn to play for my school band in 6th grade. I switched to tuba mid way through 9th grade but I never forgot my roots and i still have my trumpet which I play occasionally.
Every time I see this preview as a child, I always get tons of chills and goosebumps in my body from the man's echoing from the microphone during that long trumpet sound at 1:03.
This movie will always be my favourite!

I think I saw this trailer on a Thomas the Tank Engine VHS. There was a Studio Ghibli trailer (Kiki’s Delivery Service or something) on it as well.

I loved this so much when I was little, but I don't remember the characters except for louie
I do remember bits of it, but not in the common way. It sort of lost its shape and got mixed up with other strange pieces of visual experiences I have and had over the years. I know what I'm looking for but I absolutely can't associate it with anything relevant to my life so I get very confused at times. But thank you for sharing, I had it on VCR and it brings me back to a slightly better time in my life, when I was old enough to be moved by it but young enough to not try and analyze it. It simply touched me. And it still does.

The trailer only mentions that E.B White wrote Stuart Little. They didn’t mention “Charlotte’s Web”, what is it, chopped liver? That matters, because “Charlotte’s Web” is 10 times more popular and hell of a lot more beloved then “Stuart Little”. They even made two different film adaptations of the same book *FOR GOD SAKE!!!!*
Probably because the Stuart Little film adaptation was only a few years before this film while the Charlotte's Web animated film was back in the 1970s and wasn't well received.
I thought I hallucinated this, because I couldn't find his main theme song that he plays on Spotify.
The book is one of my favorite books. Now, Trumpeter Swans are my 3rd favorite animal. My 1st is a lion, and my 2nd is a wolf. But now swans are one of my favorite birds! Yay! 🎺🐦

First off the book Louie’s name was actually Louis
The store owner attempted to shoot at Louie’s father
Louie (Louis) had a slate a medal and money
And finally Louis’s bully or something I guess rival was never in the book
But hey adds some intense parts
I enjoyed this movie but I prefer the book

My music teacher always played such stupid junky stuff in my music class in the middle school (actually when I was just a high schooler, but I went into the middle school for music class since it was attached to the high school & my high school didn't have a music room), mostly films but also such songs as cheesy ballads with overused key changes & drum changes & other cheesy kinds of material.
Though the Movie adaptation did vary; the name is the same. Louis, is pronounced Lou-ee. The way you're thinking of is spelt, Lewis.

I never saw this in school. But I have been wondering if my music teacher would ever play this recently, although I no longer go to school, I've just finished up! I one time always wanted to see this & yesterday I just saw it for the first time. I got this off iTunes on my bedroom computer to watch it. I got it in SD in case my computer wouldn't accept it in HD, even though HD is better, but it was still perfect watching it in SD.

But this isn't a Nickelodeon movie, it's a Tristar one. If Paramount did this, it would've been cool, but maybe it can be cool being done by Tristar, but not as cool as if were to be distributed by Paramount. Sony also did "Stuart Little", but unlike this movie, it was Columbia who distributed the film, not Tristar. Columbia did both theatrical "Stuart Little" films, but Columbia I believe can't do direct-to-video films & the 3rd "Stuart Little" is straight-to-DVD, so Sony Pictures Home Entertainment did the 3rd movie.
