Progressive House was one of the genres that got me into EDM and it’s still one of my favorite ones to date. Unfortunately it kind of fell into oblivion these past years as a lot of producers, promoters and djs decided to put their main focus on other genres and music styles. Besides the melodic and future bass-ish style, progressive house music has always been a defining sound of my channel. 2021 will be a year I’m uploading more progressive house songs on my channel again. I remember doing a presentation in 7th grade about House and as I was doing research I found out about Progressive House and right there and then I fell in love with it and instead of doing research for my presentation I listened to songs for the entire hour and here we are, 4 years later, still in love with it.

I am literally doing my engineering hw with a whole background story in my head where im like the only one left on Earth with the ability to understand these "ancient texts" on material fabrication and I have to learn it so that I can build giant war machines and armor to combat the spread of an evil zombie horde army....... makes reading this textbook and doing its practice problems a lot more interesting. Everything is more fun with an imagined impending sense of doom and epic purpose. I blame corny 90's movies
It kinda feels like in the last few years the quality did drop when it comes to some gen of music like nothing really did blew me away since 2015/2016 Dont get me wrong there is a ton of good music out there but nothing really what i would day is a 10/10
