@@InfiniteReef do you encounter issue when slicing the filter cup? Is there anything that needs to be done before slicing in cura ? I encounter issue where the y axis is stuck to the right side
@@InfiniteReef I been thinking of buying a 3d printer. This make me want to buy one even more. Just to think of all the possibilities to help with reef keeping
Dude, I got a 3d printer 2 days ago and the first thing I printed was an intake screen for my aquarium also, How cool.
That’s my dream tank right there that is awesome
Nice sir .. inspirasi ❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
Have you tried printing a submerged part in PLA... if so can you tell me how it held up ?
Sorry I haven't tried reef parts with pla. I hear some people have tried it with success though

Ooo. I've seen a few videos of resin printers. That's a new level of complicated I'm not ready for lol.
What Material do you use? Great vid!
I use the atomic filaments petg. It's a bit more expensive but I trust it more since a lot of other manufacturers use it
Would by any chance share the media cup drawing? Love those a lot as I only use it with filter floss
You can find it on thingiverse. Just type red sea filter
@@InfiniteReef found it!! Thx much appriciated
Dobra robota 👍
I really need to use my 3d printer.
I really enjoy it! Only downside is some prints take forever...
Do you change the extruder that come with it when printing petg?
Nope. I used the stock one
@@InfiniteReef thank you 🙏
@@InfiniteReef do you encounter issue when slicing the filter cup? Is there anything that needs to be done before slicing in cura ? I encounter issue where the y axis is stuck to the right side
Not issues. I just downloaded from thingiverse, slice, and print. Your y axis is not moving after a certain point?
@@InfiniteReef thanks for the advice and yes it not moving… all is working fine now…thanks mate 🙏
Can pla be used to make aquarium decorations? Is it safe for fish?
From what I've heard it can but petg is safer. Also make sure whatever you use is a solid color and no sparkles or anything
Cool thanks it’s a grey color.
@@rdgd1rd can you tell me how your PLA printed aquarium part has held up.. has their been any deteriation ?
Goals
what printer is that?
Ender 3 V2. Totally worth it
@@InfiniteReef I been thinking of buying a 3d printer. This make me want to buy one even more. Just to think of all the possibilities to help with reef keeping
It's fun just to try and it's pretty cheap compared to reefing
@@InfiniteReef i actually just purchased the same printer. What filament are you using if you don’t mind me asking?
Could you tell the dimensions of the tank?
It's a Red Sea 525xl so 60x22x22
