BIG PB - First boat session of '24 - North Anglesey - Julie Anne Charters Amlwch

Thanks to Elfyn and Julie at Julieanncharters.co.uk for the invite out. Also, thanks to the lads for having me on board with them.
What a day! It never stopped raining all day but that didn't dampen the enthusiasm and anticipation. Got some early mackerel for bait along with a few pollock at an inshore mark. We cruised out to the deep water mark where big baits were going out from the start. Feared that juvenile huss would be robbing the baits at first but then Nathan had a run and was cut off. The big fish were there. Soon after I had my first run and landed my PB tope. Nathan had a second run and was smashed up again. Soon after Nathan managed to land a tope and I was smashed up on a second tope on the surface. 8/0 AvenJa Ultra Xt hooks from ‪@limitlessseafishingltd‬ doing the business.

Hi Ceirion went out with Elfyn last September good skipper.
No tope landed but plenty of Hounds and other species.
What rod you using please Ceirion 12/20?.
