“Brand new and the first of its kind”…Jessica this looks sooooo great. I hope it won’t be the only of its kind! I hope we see more novel studies that include these same types of elements and analysis
Can you link the illustrated one you show at the beginning. This looks so great for next year. We are doing your Santa's Tasty Trip and can't wait to start!
I've actually just been searching for a novel study JUST like this. One where all my kids can do the same work together but easily at their own level. I found a bunch of resources I was planning to piece together, but you just made that job unnecessary! Does this include any tie-ins to the Victorian Era?
This version on Amazon says that it’s abridged… reviews say language has been Americanized. It’s a different cover than the one you show. Could you share the ISBN for the version in the video please?
I have researched "A Christmas Carol" for almost15 years, now. My research suggests that the original authors of this novella were Mathew and Abby Whittier, an American couple who were both child prodigies and literary geniuses. In my opinion, Charles Dickens commercialized their novella in the fall of 1843 for quick cash to avoid impending debt, by reworking it into a ghost story and pretending, all his life, to have written it. "A Christmas Carol" was originally a spiritualist redemption story, not a ghost story, where the supernatural elements were drawn from authentic esoteric teachings. Dickens could not possibly have written it, because he was an aggressive skeptic in such matters, and had very little personal knowledge of these teachings (as evidenced by his other Christmas attempts).
This is awesome!! I too look forward to many more of these! Do you know where you got the illustrated version you showed in the video? I looked on Amazon but didn’t see it. Thanks!
I think it depends on your ither workload. If you were ONLY doing this study you could do it on 5 days (read a stave, complete stave activities, do an extra activity) or you could stretch it and enjoy it a bit longer. We will probably take about 3 weeks to go through it and we will pair it with the Who Was Charles Dickens book and Mini Unit Study (also on sale!)

There might be more in the works 😉
The figure language game is the selling point for me! Love it!!! Buying this to enrich our Christmas School.❤️
My oldest is in 11th grade and still loves reading A Christmas Carol every year.
This looks so good. A Christmas Carol is so rich and having resources for it is awesome!

@TheWaldockWay this is abridged is that a problem?
@@heatherritz6223 Not from what I've seen, it has enough of the story to work with the comprehension.

Do you have a link for the illustrated version? I’ve looked on Amazon and can’t find the same one.

This looks amazing! Great job! How many weeks do you think this unit should last on average?
