As damaging as the porn of their fathers was, I don't think they had any idea where porn would end up. If you said to young men's fathers that porn was dangerous, they'd be thinking what they grew up with...Playboy 30-40 years ago which WAS misogynist and damaging...but they'd laugh at the idea that this was extremely harmful to their SONS as well as their daughters. They don't understand the world their children live in. They can't even imagine things like rosebud porn or gagging. With the static image porn their fathers grew up with, there was still SOME need for imagination and the development of one's own ideas about sex. If your erection is better with porn you likely have porn-induced ED. It rules out organic problems because simply turning on porn doesn't make organic problems disappear, and if you can't masturbate without porn it rules performance anxiety because no one is nervous about pleasing their own hand.

This is so helpful to me. I didn't have anywhere near as bad habits as Gabe and didn't start as young, however I always was way too nervous around girls for no reason. I had some trouble with my girlfriend recently, not necessarily from lack of arousal but somewhat premature ejaculation. I was avoiding women and relationships for too long. It's like when they got off the porn they started thinking only about girls.
What do porn stars think about the NoFap movement? I understand that pornography is just like any another job, a means to make money. Any habit that becomes an addiction is destructive. I think that pornography needs to be recognized to have the same addiction potential like drugs such as alcohol, tobacco, marijuana and gambling. Pornography needs to be regulated in such a way that access is made more difficult. There has to be a way that whoever wants to watch it, this person has to pay for the viewing. In the end, the porn industry can earn their money and the viewer understands that they have bought a service.

This is so helpful to me. I didn't have anywhere near as bad habits as Gabe and didn't start as young, however I always was way too nervous around girls for no reason. I had some trouble with my girlfriend recently, not necessarily from lack of arousal but somewhat premature ejaculation. I was avoiding women and relationships for too long. I've tried nofap a few times but this time its a lifestyle change. I've achieved a lot while being a porn addict so i really wonder what I can achieve without being one. I'm going through recovery again. I completely relate to that. Personally I think it's kind of like an alcoholic who have to gradually drink more and more to get the the desired effect. A porn addict seeks more and more extreme stuff as time goes by to get the same excitement or even get off.
I read about guys who even ended up watching gay stuff even when they weren't gay. It's like when they got off the porn they started thinking only about girls.

What do porn stars think about the NoFap movement? I understand that pornography is just like any another job, a means to make money. Any habit that becomes an addiction is destructive. I think that pornography needs to be recognized to have the same addiction potential like drugs such as alcohol, tobacco, marijuana and gambling. Pornography needs to be regulated in such a way that access is made more difficult. There has to be a way that whoever wants to watch it, this person has to pay for the viewing. In the end, the porn industry can earn their money and the viewer understands that they have bought a service.
