This was the best Advance game by far IMO.. I truly wish the GBA had a better sound card.. this game could have really shown even more. Also, I never was a fan of the Eggman battles, and his design in this series.. Eggman is tiny, I mean Sonic is nearly as big as Eggman and his eggmobile... oh well, minor gripes.
Sonic's game animations in this game are top notch! His personality comes alive in this game! It's hard to think that even with new Sonic games, the critics will forget classics like this and just nitpick the francishe down. Some titles deserve it, some don't.

Only remember I was getting a bit older about 12, then for once my friend show me his game progress, he's got all the character and emeralds except the last stage, it's just crazy for me because for all those 2 years I've played, all I've been trying was to find a new path or new spot in every stage that would lead me to emerald, unfortunately that never happen to me, and I didn't know I can search up online how to crack the game when I was 8 or 10, plus DSL was released around 1 or 2 years after, so I've quitted my GBA games except pokemon Emerald.

Okay I never understood how you did the flip-jump off rails (like at 12:14), how do you do those? And no, I’m not talking about the tricks you can do off ramps and springs with any character. In the very least I’ve only seen it done with Sonic and specifically jumping off rails.
Must cost sega a lot to put enemies in a zone. I remember every zone in the genesis games crawling with a variety of bad guys, now you're lucky if you run into one :P

it is indeed...you have missed out, on three great Sonic Titles. Be aware, if you ever play 2 or 3, the chaos emeralds are a pain to get...Of all the years, i have yet to obtain one emerald in advance 2. Advance 3 is sorta hard, but easier than advance 2...Advance 1 chaos emeralds are the easiest...just have to find the special stage spring

It's not sound quality, just GBA has different sound system than Genesis/Mega Drive.
Sure it can make a wider range of sounds, but they all sound like they're being played through a thick layer of 5 wet towels.
