i find it hard to believe a cop would go against another cop. may be different in brit land but in yank land it's usually, 'no wrong doing was found'. love this series though. had a bit of it called leverage here in the states but they played like 2/5 of the series b4 it was dropped :( keep at it mickey & gang!
You all have a point, though I had to watch Ep. 2 twice to accept the soccer-like fight over the fake Picasso as not being a bit silly. While predictable, I still enjoyed Sean getting a little more character development and the overall gravitas of the ep. Working with the police is a bit different from previous eps as well. Mostg importantly, I'd like to thank hustleseasons again for coming through. Great work!
I tend to agree that it was a bit too predictable and that there were too many occasions where they just got lucky. I still like Hustle but this season seems to be a bit over the top. The whole army attacking a farm in episode 1, then the mob fighting over a Picasso, and now this... To be honest, my favourite season was the one without Mickey. He's a great actor and all but it was fun to really doubt if the con had failed or not, instead of knowing it was somehow planned all along.
Maybe, but that "haphazard" nature attracted me. Don't get me wrong, I like the element of "You think it went wrong, but it was actually part of the plan all along", but there's only some times you can use it before it gets boring. After a few seasons you already know that the 'drama' was planned by Mickey before it's revealed. I got bored by that format. Overall, Danny's cons were more entertaining to me than the typical con planned by Mickey.
Hmmm... This was all a bit 'It was a dream.' You don't get involved with the plot when you think that it you might be being lied to all the way round. Poor episode plot-wise, although it's always great to see Neil in action.
@omaricha Well maybe the finale will see them all getting sent to prison for the rest of there days. That won't be nearly as predictable, by your standards.
Every episode is predictable like that. Introduce mark, plan, stages of the con, drama, reveal the drama was part of the con, they win. Solid enough show, but not really innovative. Maybe 2 or 3 episodes stray from that formula.
