Let's give major props to Steve for how he handled that!! I know this show is written in 2019, but in the context of this show, Steve lives in 80s conservative Reagan America. In fact, he didn't insult Robin for liking women, but her choice of women lol.

Wow I know I'm late but it's so obvious how many of the people in the comments are new to this channel, yall were taking their jokes wayyyy to seriously
Honestly, this episode makes me so happy. Queer subtext tends to go over a lot of people's heads. People often see two guys flirting/one clearly interested in the other or two girls being romantic and their response is usually, "Wow. They're such good friends". It isn't until the character starts waving around neon signs that most people understand what the media could be implying. But if you have a guy and a girl even look at each other for a second too long people are like, "Yes. They're endgame. It's almost confirmed by now." And no. Sometimes a guy and a girl can be really close, platonic friends without being romantically involved. And I love it. Robin and Steve's friendship is amazing. Also, I know some people try to hate on Max for this season, but she's mostly right. El spent most of her life being controlled by Papa. She got a small taste of freedom in S1. But for most of S2, her life solely revolved around Hopper. And in the beginning of S3, it was mostly all about Mike. El has never been able to say, "This is what I want to do. This is how I want my life to be." Max showed her that it was okay to not have her life revolve around Hopper or Mike. They're important to her, yes. But she can care about them and simultaneously care about herself and her needs too. And it's wild. When Mike was treating Max like garbage in S2, people made excuses like, "Oh. He's just a kid. Oh, he just lost El so it's understandable." Yet when Max, someone who has a toxic life filled with other people trying to make choices for her, tries to teach El the meaning of being able to make your own choices, people are like "Max is so manipulative. She's being so mean to Mike for no reason. Ugh." Come on now.
not as many people hate max as opposed to mike, he’s quite literally the most hated character, plus mike was worried for her, and I understand max wants her to be independent but at the same time, she didn’t care much for El’s safety. When they went to the mall, she didn’t think about els safety, rather dismissing it as “you have superpowers, it’s fine” and when Lucas suggested helping out with the fireworks, she still just wanted el to do it on her own, despite her being injured.
It’s honestly amazing to me that Robyn had to trust Steve enough to tell him. She didn’t know how he’d react she just had to say it because he said he likes her and she didn’t want to give false hope. I respect that so much. And those two are such a dream team. Such an amazing duo. Steve and Robyn and Steve and Dustin are two of my fave friendships in the show. I love Nancy and Jonathan the most as a couple though. Their storyline up til here is just so cute.
Hopper and Joyce are acting like teenagers its so funny "Children! Children! Children! This internal bickering was amusing at first but its getting very stale and we've still gotten a long drive ahead of us" Hes right that would be so annoying hearing that the whole way. He Was tired of their fighting.

Technically speaking I believe the whole cast was suppose to be done after season 1, if I remember correctly. I think the concept was originally to make Stranger Things have a seasonal cast rather than a multi seasonal narrative.
this is false, they always knew they were gonna have 4 or 5 seasons, netflix made them write like a 20 page paper on the lore of stranger things and how it would possibly end back when they first pitched it. they were thinking of doing it anthology style before the pitch but decided against it. also el was never going to die in season 1 bc she is who the show is about.

Robin coming out that shes a Lesbian in the bathroom stall to Steve was a real twist and of all people she had a crush on Tammy who obviously had a crush on her friends boyfriend but because its the 1980s it has to be done in the right way for that time period. So I love how they didn't modernize that story too much cause their doing that in shows thats supposed to take place in the Victorian era or Medieval times and showing that people didn't care back then which is unrealistic and the show just becomes fake because we have to cater political correctness and gender identity in 2018- 2020s but were not representing it in the correct way. And I love how the Duffer Brothers showed what woman were dealing with in a world full of men at their jobs. Their showing you the truth in that time period. Their making it a lot more realistic that way but theres modern day shows that show stuff and thats not something we really go through that much anymore. This is like the only time I was disappointed to see a character come out as gay in a show, lol. Robin and Steve were the pairing I was rooting for all season, and my heart broke for Steve when Robin revealed she isn't interested in guys at all. But it was really well handled and super wholesome! They're definitely my favorite duo in the entire show. Even if they didn't get together.
okay but same!!! I was rooting for them, especially because of their great chemistry, BUT i can’t wait to see more of their friendship and I would love to explore Robin coming out/romantic prospects.
Tbh I was too but I do think that male and female relationships don’t always have to be romantic and I’m glad this show showed that with Tobin and Steve being great friends.
@@glossixe8138 That’s not necessarily true. Robin was supposed to get with Steve, it was her actress, Maya Hawke, that suggested for the character to be a lesbian.
I love Robin's come out scene it was handled so well, her character unlike many characters in other shows wasn't all about being gay some characters feel like they exist to just be gay and to give the show a gay character but not her! She was this awesome funny girl who was brilliant and we loved who happens to be gay also love how Steve reacted to it, he didn't make fun of her or insult her he also didn't make it about him, he was the one getting rejected but didn't make a comment about it and instead made her laugh and feel at ease! Also RIP Alexei, he was too good for this world 😔
When that dude said "Steve is all about hair only" like ARE YOU F&CKING KIDDING ME?!!? WTF 🙄 Steve is literally one of the best characters ever written for this show with the best character arch.
Yeah it’s kinda is weird that Nancy feel for the dude that violated her, even if it did end up working out. Love may be complicated but violation is not

Ready for season 4😁
HEADS UP! there’s a POST CREDIT SCENE at the end of the final episode!!!
are you guys gonna continue house of the dragon?
plus El wouldn't have her own personality if it wasn't for Max teaching her independence
24:32 THIS HAD ME DYING
I have to agree I can’t drink warm water either 🤣 has to be ice cold
nathan gotta fart back at davion for doing it so close to him. Make it a series.
15:05
I think you forgot to add 3x6 to the stranger things playlist
little do they know is that i met maya hawke before lol (shes a actually a sweetheart)
This is so random but Nathan looks like Lizzy McGuire's little brother
Yes let all the good men in the show live. For Winona!
W noti L freeze at the beginning lmaoo
Yall should really watch the 100 after this
im sooo excited for you guys reaction about robin being lesbian after all the rooting for her and steve
You legit just spoiled it-
Why tf did you do that??? 🤨
@@TappersTay she literally came out in this episode
@@TappersTay it’s literally already revealed in this episode that she likes girls. And they’re already finished with the first episode of season 4
@@3verestrr I didn't reach that part yet and I haven't seen stranger things that's why im watching it with them
15:03 LMFAOOO
you guys will love max in season 4
Robin and Steve would have been a great relationship. They built it up perfectly but it is what it is.
they built up their friendship perfectly. robin was always planned to be gay
@@glossixe8138 That’s not necessarily true. Robin was supposed to get with Steve, it was her actress, Maya Hawke, that suggested for the character to be a lesbian.
Nah their dynamic wouldn’t have worked
Not every single male and female relationship has to be romantic. It can be platonic too😂
Davion I promise you, you will like max in season 4.
SOOOOOO..... back to the future reaction? :)
Also RIP Alexei, he was too good for this world 😔
That guy is a nice Russian he trust Hopper
When that dude said "Steve is all about hair only" like ARE YOU F&CKING KIDDING ME?!!? WTF 🙄
Steve is literally one of the best characters ever written for this show with the best character arch.
Yo, Nathan is on to something about Micky Ds Dr. Pepper! better then the bottle Dr. Pepper.
yayy please post the season finale today if you can.. 🤭🤭🤭
PLEASE REACT TO THE BACK TO THE FUTURE MOVIES!!
Y’all should react to the flash the show is sooo good it’s on Netflix by the way and watch all American on Netflix too
i might get the patreon
Yeah it’s kinda is weird that Nancy feel for the dude that violated her, even if it did end up working out. Love may be complicated but violation is not
i mean i agree, st will do well without max. its crazy how ppl especially twt thinks st can exist without el, she's literally the main character
