in my opinion i think this is better than the new ones, sure this is old, but for when it was released it had awesome visual effects and they even stand out today, the tension is awesome and theres no over use of the Wave motion guns

The fact this movie had a big budget. Though honestly the director's cut is better in my opinion. In that you get to see the Blue Earth and Musashi.
