    STORY
In the rural outskirts of a tiny town in Georgia, there stands a forgotten property that has remained uninhabited for almost a decade. Once a humble abode, this single-story house held the dreams and laughter of an African-American family of six. Jeffrey and Sandra, devoted parents, created a warm and loving home where their daughters and sons flourished.
Step inside, and you'll find a time capsule of the past. The rooms are adorned with retro TVs, radios, and relics from the vibrant eras of the 1970s and 1980s. In these fading documents, we catch a glimpse of a modest yet heartfelt existence, where unemployment cast its shadow but love still thrived.
Sports played a prominent role in the lives of their sons. One son, a baseball prodigy, amassed a collection of trophies as a testament to his skill. Meanwhile, the other son dedicated his weekdays to the games of basketball and American football.
Today, we stand witness to the remnants of a once vibrant family life. Join us as we venture inside this American time capsule, ready to uncover the stories that echo through the silent corridors.

My husband and myself made sure our two kids, Audrey and Brian learned what the value of knowledge can do to them. I myself was 15 when my husband and I had our first child. We are still married and we will be married 48 years this November. We loved our little girl so much and when our son was born I was 21. I saved everything like some school papers, grades, art, newspaper clippings that and much more. I came from a family with 7 kids. To this day I have never ever thought that I was a failure. I graduated with honors and had some interesting jobs. It is so cool to find things that other families have collected over the years. Great video as always. ❤😊❤

My parents divorced years back and both left the family home and no one else wanted it.
They took what they wanted and left A LOT behind.
I was able to access the home an entire year later and it looked like this, family pics left behind, TV's, newspaper, and furniture.
It lookes creepy, but no spooky back story, just messy divorce.

@@goldenstarr8469 yes I am for real. This home is heir property and will be eventually torn down. Yes we are in the house next door on the same property- 13 acres to be exact! We’re still trying to figure out why he chose this house to trespass also. No one has lived in it for years but the yards are always kept up because we use it daily. U can often ride by and see my nephews and cousins sitting on the porch or out in the yard….because that’s what we do in the small town that we live. Also, had he mentioned the house to ANYONE in town, they would have directed him to the house next door (because everybody knows everybody and everybody’s business - black and white). 🤭And I’m serious about that. Thats just how it is in small towns.

My theory is that something bad happened to that family and they either left in a hurry or were forced out. I think it would be lovely to find out what happened to them.

Being from GA it seems to me that it may have been a multi generational family home because of the antique items mixed with items from recent times. Alot of times in southern african american families when the matriarch passes away their homes and things are left undervalued and neglected. And then also in small towns across the south whole families did meet unfavorable fates so it is very possible something went terribly wrong in this small town.

Everyone Hi. This house could perhaps be more than 100 years old. Great video but wooden frame houses are largely from the late 1890s to the early 1900s. NOT from the 1960s which was a concrete block Era. This house has been redone and refurbished perhaps dozens of times over the last 120 years. The inside panneling and ceiling plasters are relatively inexpensive remodeling which why they are deteriorating after maybe 20 or 25 years. The original wood frame probably disintegrated or has been torn out decades ago. Actually it looks like that back part was addition to the original. This house easily goes back to 1900 and tons and tons of different families have probably lived there.

The house was built in the early 1900s on unlevel ground by hand by my great aunt and uncle. With a bad foundation and uneven ground, it became a money pit. My mom took out loans to repair it when I was a teenager, then health issues settled in and my mom was not able to keep up the loan/ refi payments. No one wanted to buy it in its condition, not even to flip it, so we left it and let the bank auction it. That was back in 99. Sits empty to this day.

There's a reason things get left behind and it's often a battle over the estate which can drag on for years. Preserving a home and/or it's objects isn't Leslie's thing. Preserving it's history by exploring it and doing a video is what he does. Obviously someone owns this property going by the grass being cut. I've always found that trophies and awards are for the moment one receives them, then they become old and stale the minute after they are received....it's just a statement at the time
