I remember when they delayed the game in 2015 thinking the reasoning that “we believe there’s more potential to the game we haven’t fully developed” was pretty weird and figured they were just trying not to say there was some problem with the game. Then come the next time it was shown it was way more detailed in terms of gameplay and how you interact with the world and going “huh, they really did mean it.” Easily one of the best games Nintendo ever made, and what’s even crazier is how much Tears of the Kingdom managed to build on it further.
I loved tears of the kingdom, but I just didn't get the same charm that there was in breath of the wild. Playing breath of the wild for my first time was a feeling that could not be replicated by tears of the kingdom.

I played so many games in my whole life but BOTW is the greatest game ever made. Hands down 👍. Even IGN the bible of video games voted BOTW as the greatest game ever made. Hope BOTW 2 could be as equal or even better. Can't wait ladies 🤑
I tried getting into zelda before this game but I never fully got it. BotW got me into the zelda games more then ever before and the open world sandbox feels truly alive. I still have more to do also after almost 150 hours!
@@santinostudios4254 Well its almost the same for me. But i liked the series always but played only 3-4 games like majoras mask skyward sword etc. Now at 1200 Hours in Master Mode and have 3 Towers left to complete with like 150 Koroks to find. I hope the Sequel will atleast be as good as botw :,)
I remember re watching the last trailer about a 1000 timed it manages to convey so much emotion it just makes me wanna cry and rediscover this game. The worst part of playing a game this good is knowing that you will eventually finish it.
I remember seeing the third trailer at 2016, I'm Brazilian, and I didn't have much info about Nintendo news, I just remember a friend of mine in school saying that there's gonna be a new zelda called Breath of the Wild, and when I got home I istantly googled it and whatched the trailer... I almost cried of emotion, The Legend of Zelda was, and still is my favorite franchise of all times
Same I am really excited and I know it is gonna be a great game because they are taking their time and they already have the engine from the first game so that gives them even more time to make the actual game

Fun fact: the third trailer is the only trailer not to have its own custom soundtrack- it’s actually Daruk’s extended theme! Plus the first few seconds of rito village day theme.
I'm a diehard BOTW fan who first played it in 2019. I've never seen the trailers before, and it's cool to see all the hype leading up to the game's release. Hype for the sequel is pretty big, but I can only imagine what it was like seeing these trailers for the first time, especially for long time Zelda fans.
Can not wait to see BOTW 2 and what Nintendo has been able to come up with since 2017 to take open world gaming beyond the benchmark they themselves set with BOTW. It’s going to be amazing!

I knew that game came out in 2015. It had to, because Wii U debuted in late-2013, and was discontinued in 2014, just 6 months later due to being a commercial failure. Now, had it lasted like 4 or 5 years, that'd be a different story.
now that totk is out and I've almost beat the game, and I've done 5-6 playthroughs of botw, I am now seeing this trailer with a much different perspective.
i remember when that first trailer dropped and the internet lost their mind! we could all tell it was going to be a different kind of zelda game from the get go. i seriously was never more hyped for a video game than i was for BOTW. they killed it with their advertising.

Ok I know every loves the story trailer and I agree it's hype but I just have pure nostalgia for the title reveal trailer. So peaceful and true to the representation of what the actual game is. This is the first time I am seeing these trailers. I went into BotW blind, and I mean entirely, I had no clue what the concept even was. I just knew there was a new Zelda game that was supposed to be good. My best friends came over with it for his WiiU, and we dropped some L... I played the older Zelda games but I fell off on the WiiU... let me tell you, I had no clue what I was getting myself into. My mind broke that day, I haven't been the same since. Bought a switch & botw that week for myself. Anyway this is just a long way of saying, I'm really tempted to not watch the 10 minute gameplay for TotK tomorrow 03/28/2023... this is by far my most anticipated title of all time, and the blind experience I had with BotW was just so unique, I would do just about anything to not spoil my first playthru of TotK... but I'm not gonna lie, the temptation to watch tomorrow will be far too strong for me to handle.
This is hands down the best game of all time with all the glitches and overall the game itself is awesome i know botw2 will be good but with almost no glitches.

The bridge Link shoots the guardian is in Faron. The same bridge still exists and going forward from it would take you to a more Zonai like bridge in both games. You can also see architecture from the Zonai ruins around the bridge shown. A bit too much but using the knowledge, Link would've been hanging out around Highland stable and then the guardian rushed him to this bridge near the Zonai ruin
