Soda-Pop...and you can convince me different! Nice large interior. For a trailer this size I would want at least combo washer/dryer prep. You mentioned no slam latches for the passthru, but I see they do have them on the exterior underbed storage. Would be nice if they did standardize on slam latches throughout.
Sounds like an idea for a video! The Nerd's top five for full time living, one list for travel trailers, one list for 5th wheels. I was looking at an Ember with these intentions in a few more years.
My wife grew up in the big city. One day I saw her dip my granny's cast iron pan in soapy water to wash it and she jumped a couple of feet when I screamed NOOOOOO!!!!

Josh josh josh … If someone’s looking for a washer dryer hookups despite being a lower Keystone class - the Passport GT 2400 RB. The Passport GT is a premium class instead of the Cougar luxury class. they need power towers on the counter appliance cords are short. Still no storage in the bathroom for towels and such. Should be a queen with side stands no place for cpap machine. Don’t need washer dryer just adds more weight. should have standard tpms

I have a question. I know it is hard to put electric outlets on the walls could they possibly put in power towers instead? Don’t need a washer dryer. It really needs towel storage in the bathroom. And a queen bed. Should be a standard 2 air unit. My bed has wheels under the bed.
It’s “coke”….regardless of the brand. Sweet camper. Not much I’d change. Also, along with an RVNerd hat I’d definitely get the RVNerdisms book. Sage words to live by would reside within.
Okay. There's a lot to unpack here. First of, I'm from LA.... Lower Alabama. And all aweet carbonated beverages down here are "Cokes". As in "What kind of Coca-Cola you want with lunch sweetie?" Fanta Stawberry, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Coke....anything carbonated counts as "Coke". NOT soda. NOT pop. (My Mama's people are from Maine and we used to have this "cultural exchange" on the reg. Since I wouldn't tow a travel trailer more than 20 minutes? I don't need a TPMS because I'm going to check right before I tow anyhow. I'd be okay with no W/D in that trailer because I'm only going to truly camp in it. No WAY could I full time there. Not enough windows or counter space But I have come around (slowly) on the cheese grater floor vents. The thoughtful placement Keystone uses helps as did the vent filter you so generously linked for me. Thanks Josh. You do great work ya big nerd!!!🤓
PS) because that wasn't long enough 🙄... deal breaker for me are the windows on the 'drivers side'. Like the marine noncarpet, dislike the 2 door bathroom.
Not a fan of the bed I like turning on my feet when my backside is still on the bed you have to bounce out of it and the other person is not a morning person not fun. With that being said, you should bring that and some other campers to the Atlantic City RV show in March.
Team pop! Northeast OH reporting in. I have a question about floor heating vents. Why, oh why, do we still use the sharp vents?? Beyond RV's, but in homes too? My house is over 100 yrs old. the heating vents are in the walls, but the cold air intakes are nice, sturdy and smooth cast iron. Why are we killing our feet over these? We have the technology. I've never cared for the dual entry bathroom. The one into the bedroom just wastes wall space. Besides, the main entry is just steps away. A bathroom needs towel bars more than useless space.
There's more to towing than just tow ratings. Knowing your payload would be important as this is fairly heavy on the tongue. On paper you have the proper tow rating but I suspect you're lacking in payload and chances are your wheelbase is a bit short. The trailer would probably push you around quite a bit while towing

Made me glad we just have the tinted frosted glass. Oh! And yes! I love when you show them in travel mode. Keep up the great work, Mr Nerd! 👍
There aren't always direct lines up RV family trees. Overall Cougars do come more highly equipped. Doesn't mean they do everything their little brothers and sisters do and then some... though that would totally make sense Jayco and Grand Design to be more that way where a Reflection will do everything an Imagine does and then more for example. Forest River is all over the place. Keystone's waters a little muddy but you can see a general path up their food chain
the more of these i see.... the more lack of campside windows seems acceptable, yet it is nice to see your campsite, but as long as you can see outside in any direction is good enough, reason i have decided this is... again, if i want to see what is going on outside in my camp, i will probably be out there.... if i am inside it is because of rain or such, chilling watching a movie, what is going on out there really does not matter, does not matter which direction the windows face really. and if boondocking can usually park the trailer with windows and camp facing anyway you like anyway. ... in some ways windows on opposite side of camp is a plus... if you have all campside windows, and duece dropper side all no windows, now you can not see what going on over on the side you rarely have reason to walk around to look. so windows on left side do have some plus factors. kinda nice to look out the window to make sure the stinky slinky is not doing something undesirable ect. full view of the side you otherwise may not even look at for 3 days if all windows on campside. there are important things to see out that side.... is nice to examine them without having to actually go out there..... lose power, look out window, yep plug still in.... or.. oh it just fell out, no biggie. yes you will go out there anyway, but at least you can see exactly what the issue may be without going out there, and prepare mentally for it lol. .. just general peace of mind seeing all hooked up out the windows correctly as you live in your enviroment, even subconciously. rather than having no clue what you will see when you go around the side.
It's tricky. Each model has a different "goal" in a sense. Sometimes campside windows matter. Sometimes they don't. And where you camp affects that as well. In sun country people often just leave them closed all the time due to the heat

Damm it nerd my passport has slam latch compartments and that cougar doesn’t have them I thought it was a step up trailer !
There aren't always direct lines up RV family trees. Overall Cougars do come more highly equipped. Doesn't mean they do everything their little brothers and sisters do and then some... though that would totally make sense
Jayco and Grand Design to be more that way where a Reflection will do everything an Imagine does and then more for example.
Forest River is all over the place. Keystone's waters a little muddy but you can see a general path up their food chain
All good except for the round shower, too small.
its soda pop......hahaha
😁
Soft drink
the more of these i see.... the more lack of campside windows seems acceptable, yet it is nice to see your campsite, but as long as you can see outside in any direction is good enough, reason i have decided this is... again, if i want to see what is going on outside in my camp, i will probably be out there.... if i am inside it is because of rain or such, chilling watching a movie, what is going on out there really does not matter, does not matter which direction the windows face really. and if boondocking can usually park the trailer with windows and camp facing anyway you like anyway. ... in some ways windows on opposite side of camp is a plus... if you have all campside windows, and duece dropper side all no windows, now you can not see what going on over on the side you rarely have reason to walk around to look. so windows on left side do have some plus factors. kinda nice to look out the window to make sure the stinky slinky is not doing something undesirable ect. full view of the side you otherwise may not even look at for 3 days if all windows on campside. there are important things to see out that side.... is nice to examine them without having to actually go out there..... lose power, look out window, yep plug still in.... or.. oh it just fell out, no biggie. yes you will go out there anyway, but at least you can see exactly what the issue may be without going out there, and prepare mentally for it lol. .. just general peace of mind seeing all hooked up out the windows correctly as you live in your enviroment, even subconciously. rather than having no clue what you will see when you go around the side.
It's tricky. Each model has a different "goal" in a sense. Sometimes campside windows matter. Sometimes they don't.
And where you camp affects that as well. In sun country people often just leave them closed all the time due to the heat
Pop. But I'm also a Michigander, so . . .
Coke.. and Florida says 2nd air should be standard

Why Nerdism #37? See rule #37.
Mike gets it
It’s Soda…pop is the sound a soda makes when you open it…
Pop is what happens in Michigan when you leave the can sealed in your car overnight during the winter lol :)
Soda bro. Pop is a sound.
When you live where I do pop is what sodas do when you leave them in the car overnight during the winter
Glad we got ours before they changed the nose cap. I much prefer the chrome lettering on the black background. Plus I live in Canada, so it’s Pop, not Soda! Unless it’s Cream Soda. Which is also a type of pop. And ironically, you Yanks don’t get that down there. Or ketchup chips! I’ll have to send you some, Josh! Plus our Smarties are better, what’s up with that?
Dude... Now I want a cream soda..
Pop
Soda, NOT soda pop.
cast iron... in the dishwasher???
LOL - I like to throw that statement in there to watch the comments go crazy. Obviously I would never actually do it or TRULY suggest it
