- Brother Yun, nicknamed "The Heavenly Man," is a Chinese house church leader and missionary from the Henan province of China. He has an incredible firsthand account to share about the miracles Jesus has worked in his life and the lives of others. He remains active today with the "Back to Jerusalem" movement, which seeks to send missionaries to the little-reached regions between China and Israel. This video is an excerpt from his book (also titled "The Heavenly Man") with added animation. I hope you enjoy it and that it inspires you in your walk with Jesus!
Praise the Lord

Yes, indeed. If you hear the full story, Yun did not give himself that nickname. What happened was the police came to arrest the Christians and stopped Yun. The whole church was meeting nearby and would've all been arrested. So when they started asking Yun, "who are you and where do you live?!" He started yelling loudly, "my home is in heaven, I'm a heavenly man!" The church knew he was warning them, and so everyone escaped while he was making a scene. They started calling him, "heavenly man" after that, because of what he said to the police, and not as adoration. He is very humble. Have a blessed evening!
Thank you so much : I read the book and met Isaac Liu, The Heavenly man's son. Such a blessed family, faithfully serving God with the underground church & in their town. A blessing to the body of Christ.
How wonderful to get the chance to connect with their family. Yes, they are truly a blessing from God to the church. Thank you for sharing that!
Amen!! Praise be to God! Thank u!💖

I've read the book about Yun. It's one of my favourites. The story about his escape from prison is spectacular.
Yes, indeed. I love how our Father delivered Him from prison just like Peter! Have a blessed day.
Awesome testimony, unfortunately the music is a little to loud at times.
Thank you for your feedback, friend. I will watch that closely for future videos. 👍
The Bible teaches that when we die we rest in the grave. We don't to heaven when we die. Lazarus was dead for 4 days Jesus didn't say Lazarus come down, He said come forth.
I assume you are referring to the statement about the pastor who was killed living on in heaven with a reward. That was quoted from Yun's book and not a teaching on heaven that I am doing. However, since you brought it up, I will defend his statement Biblically. It is true on two levels. First, everything is recorded in heaven and we live on with God in a symbolic way, since those in Christ never truly die. John 11:26--"And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die."
The statement is also true on a much more visceral level. The pastor in the story died a martyr's death, spilling his blood for the testimony of Christ. The life is in the blood, and a martyr's blood is spiritually placed on the altar in the heavenly sanctuary in the very presence of the throne of God. The souls of the martyrs speak with God in heaven from under the mercy seat. This is described as going on prior to the resurrection of the righteous dead and you can read about it in Revelation 6:9-11.
I know there are also verses about resting in death and about the dead "knowing nothing" and so forth. Obviously that is what you are driving at. The subject is somewhat complicated, since we exist in three parts: body, soul, and spirit, as well as because we are bound by earthly time but in the heavenly realm God's experience of things is eternal. There are many things in the Bible that seem contradictory on the surface, but that reveal deeper meaning when you dive in. Although it may not touch on the fullness of the subject, we cannot categorize Yun's statement as false when the Bible explicitly describes the souls of martyrs in heaven in the presence of God conversing with Him about how long they must wait for justice.
Hi, May I share the most important news you will ever hear in life? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
