About the time this episode was filmed, Chad Stuart was doing some voice acting, appearing as a vulture in Walt Disney's 1967 film The Jungle Book. Also, they had just recorded Of Cabbages and Kings and one last album, The Ark, in 1968. By the end of the year, after doing a few songs for the soundtrack of the sex comedy 3 in the Attic, they broke up. A Summer Song & Willow Weep for Me are two of my favorite songs of the 60's.
Something similar happened in September 1963 in real life. George Harrison went to visit his sister in Benton, Illinois. Beatlemania was still three months away, so no one had yet heard of George. He casually mingled with the locals and wound up performing at a local VFW with a local country band, the Four Vests.

Jeremy's guitar playing is soft and pretty like Odetta, Oscar Brand, John Denver, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Gordon Lightfoot, Tracy Chapman, and Paula Janis(Magic Garden).
Charlie did suffer from severe anal retention. Not just irritable bowel but irritable mood as well. the poor man. He simply couldn't tolerate milk or any dairy products.😡
Like groovy, man! Paul's solo at Anderson's Porch, "Greensleeves", registered by the London Stationer's Company in 1580, was paired with the Christmas hymn, "What Child is This?" in 1871. As this episode's original air date was December 23, AD 1967, the song was likely selected by the writers to pay homage to the festival of Christ's Nativity.
At the tail end of the show Uncle Charlie and the father listening to the instrumental they were playing....can someone please tell me the name of it? I tried Googling it via laptop and my laptop couldn't identify the piece .......
I was just wondering that too....to me it looks like a variation of a 355....I didn't see any f-holes or a varitone control, so I'm thinking that eliminates it being a 335 or 345...if anyone else reading this knows, please feel free to help us out and comment :)
Hollywood had quite a knack for disguising vehicles, food brands, and practically anything else they could get around using contractually or not. Their property people were able to pull off many deceptions.

How can an acoustic guitar be heard over the drums and electrically amplified instruments?

Very boss rendition of a classical folk ditty.
That's a real snappy tune that Chip's band is working on. 🙄
Then they rock it in 4/4 time, but the song is only 16 bars long, so it's way too short. They needed some solos!
