    These are amazing gloves. Great construction, great quality. The material looks and smells great despite not being leather. There is padding all over this baby, way more than any other glove. The padding is really stiff and will need to be broken in but it’s also extremely protective. I feel very confident punching with these.
    Only thing I’d change is I wish I bought a 10oz instead of 12oz (I’m 135lbs, 5’7” male)

    Product description says they are intended for sparring too. Well, not really. They protect your hands and wrists well, but your partners face not so much, they are hard as bricks on the outside. Its no pleasure being hit with these and I would strongly advise to get different gloves for sparring if you want to keep partners. For bag and pad work or competition fighting they work great though. Outshocks Thai gloves are a way nicer option for sparring.

      is it really that hard? i was really planning to buy these for all purpose training gloves, but now that youve said that the padding is hard, im thinking to look for other gloves that will protect my sparring partner too.
      its such a bummer to know that the padding is hard. i really love its aesthetics but i dont want to hurt my sparring partners...

    • @miosz9007
      @miosz9007 2 роки тому

      Well, they are unpleasant to be hit with. But Outshock has Muay Thai gloves and those are actually very good for sparring. They cost about the same, but are partially real leather. A better overall glove, in my opinion. It doesnt stiffen the wrist as the kickboxing gloves to, but that is personal preference.

    That big elastic inside reminds me of Hayabusa T3. It’s a pain for my giant hands to get in without a large opening. With wraps it’s a no go

      They aren’t ideal tbh. Out of the box they’re quite stiff
      I had to cut the little thumb attachment off and break them in a shit ton, but now they are great for clinching and catching kicks. I can actually get a grip and grab stuff

      I live in Germany and they still sell the boxing glove model here.
      I use the 16 OZ version for bag work for about 4 months now in order to build strengt and condition by using a heavier glove. I can say, that the padding still feels very good and protecting, the outside looks still like brand new.
      For the price of 40€ i would definetely try them if they fit you in terms of your hand size cause they are a little bit small.
      Edit: On the german decathlon website ppl who had everlast, rival, winning and more really recommend those gloves too as a cheap alternative :D
