This is lovely. Really lovely. The trumpet is smooth, and the harp enchanting. And then the violin comes on, which is just like frosting on this lovely, lovely cake.
I was just listening to the vocal version of this song thinking "man I wish there was a trumpet cover" and in my recommended was this! Amazingly beautiful!
What can I give him, poor as I am? If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb; if I were a Wise Man, I would do my part; yet what I can I give him: give my heart.
Here are the first and last verses of Christina Rossetti's poem: In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan, Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone; Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow, In the bleak midwinter, long ago. What can I give Him, poor as I am? If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb; If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part; Yet what I can I give Him: give Him my heart.
The words were written as a poem by Christina Rossetti. The first stanza contains a stunning simile - "water like a stone;" I think it would melt at this rendition.
I don't know the origin of these words, but they make the song even more beautiful. Gathered round Your altar on this holy eve Viewing Bethlehem’s stable we rejoice and grieve. Joy to see You lying in Your manger bed Weep to see You dying in our sinful stead. Prince of Glory gracing heaven ere time began Now for us embracing death as Son of Man. By Your birth so lowly, by Your love so true By Your death most holy, we are healed by You. Bethlehem’s incarnation, Calvary’s bitter cross Wrought for us salvation by Your pain and loss. Now we fall before You in the holy place Kneeling we adore You for Your gift of grace. Christmas Babe so tender, Lamb who bore our blame Heal our wounded spirits as we praise Your name. Do Your own good pleasure in the lives we bring In Your ransomed treasure reign forever King.
Our God, heaven cannot hold him, nor earth sustain; heaven and earth shall flee away when he comes to reign. In the bleak midwinter a stable place sufficed the Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ.
sweet music ,my most favourite carol , life is though a music but the sound of a single string is not be your being but is the strum of many that sounds the harmony we wish in life,Live then not just to listen to its beauty but also to compose it for yourself and within this music find a desire to be in tune with others Robin G SNR
Angels and archangels may have gathered there, cherubim and seraphim thronged the air; but his mother only, in her maiden bliss, worshiped the beloved with a kiss.
When I see/hear her videos I try to be objective and concentrate on her technique, talent and ability and the beauty of her playing......alas I fail sometimes and can't help but notice how PRETTY she is.
The trumpet she is performing with is Yamaha's first version of their Chicago C trumpet. Tine gives that horn a beautiful sound however I would love to hear how she sounds on a Bach Chicago C.
Without words... greetings from Malaga ( Spain) You are really wonderful, I´m also trumpet player and I´m studying and I think that you are really great... Nice girl and nice sound. Congratulations
Tine Thing plays her trumpet like the angel she is. She is simply DIVINE!
its always great to see a trumpeter who actually puts the trumpet's beautiful voice to use
Very nice! Especially liked the trumpet harmonizing with the violin.
This is lovely.
Really lovely.

I was just listening to the vocal version of this song thinking "man I wish there was a trumpet cover" and in my recommended was this! Amazingly beautiful!
This song has ever been used by Rosaryhill School as the school bell midi broadcast since September 2004. The melodies are very sweet!
My grandson and granddaughter play the trumpet! This touches my heart! Diane (their loving grandmother)

Beautiful song and women. About as good as it gets. Christmas 2020 is coming and I cannot wait. Love you all.
The beauty of a simple song played lovingly, each part. So deeply encouraging to the suffering heart.
What can I give him, poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb;
if I were a Wise Man, I would do my part;
yet what I can I give him: give my heart.
more than 2000 years ago a child born in a stable still talking a bout it today. I gave him my heart when i was 8 year old that's years ago 50

" But only His Mother, in Her Maiden Bliss, Worshipped The Beloved with A Kiss...." wonderful words, wonderful Melody, Wonderful Musicians!
the ability to make a slow song sound this good is harder than playing any fast piece.
Everything about this is like.. spot on. Besides the bit of clashing with the trumpet and violin, the melody is so clean and smooth. Just amazing
Clashing? You mean beautiful contrapuntal harmony?
It's piece of music make me cry
This puts a big smile on my face. Thank you so much.
no uncertain trumpet here...this is marvelous
Our God, heaven cannot hold him, nor earth sustain;
heaven and earth shall flee away when he comes to reign.
In the bleak midwinter a stable place sufficed
