unlike bones, david productions did not shy away from okubo's disturbing drawings. hell, they even worked on jojo, uncensored, that anime is damn graphic. if soul eater was to ever be rebooted; they should be the studio who does it all. not to mention the sfx work that david production creates is without a doubt the best sound design out of any anime studio in the world, the current soul eater already sounds good; but imagine if it had the supernatural sounding environment that would fit the horror aspect better.
Now that they've confirmed the final season for ff and that it was confirmed ff is the prequel to soul eater i really hope they announce a reboot of soul eater once the last season is done airing. DP really nailed the uncanny imagery with ff.
The first time I saw the one with his mom it honestly freaked me out and then when we found out it's his mother idk if that made it worse or better honestly. Doesn't freak me out now but honestly it was super freaky the first time.
