Hi Kelly I like a lot of these for my ultra sensitive, rosacea and eczema prone mature skin - especially the Niod MG. Unfortunately though the liquid gold really doesn't work for me and caused a massive reaction during the patch testing process. Something you didn't touch on that I find really difficult is cleansing, when my skin is super irritated/flared up. For this my two favourites are the Avene antirougours refreshing cleanser and the Bioderma sensibio misceller water, but i rinse both off despite them saying on the bottle you don't need to. I don't leave the cleansing residue on my skin. As a quick fix I really like the Bennton centella redness relief sheet mask or the dear, Klairs soothing sheet mask. The centella mask does take down redness and the Klairs one is very moisturising. The Altruist 10% urea cream works really well on eczema patches and is super affordable. Best wishes.
Hi Kelly! Your recs have saved my mature, dry, dehydrated skin! I cannot thank you enough. My newest holy grail that I would love to hear your take on is Kiel’s ultra facial overnight rehydrating mask with 10.5% squalane. This is amazing!!! I use it several different ways.. as a sleeping pack, a 10 minute mask before my shower, as a spot treatment, and sometimes I’ll just use a tiny bit for a more occlusive layer during the daytime. You need to try this, I cannot recommend it enough!
The NIOD Modulating Glucosides saved my skin this winter and was the sole reason I was able to continue with tretinoin. No more flakes or uglies. Miracle in a bottle! Thank you for all your thorough reviews, Kelly! ♥
NIOD’s various versions of CAIS and now CAIL have been my hero products over many years now. I have dry, sensitive, dehydrated skin that is slow to heal, whether that be blemishes or skin barrier issues. This is the product that I need everyday when my skin isn’t doing well, otherwise the rest of my routine is helpful but does not address the underlying issue. I also love the smell and texture of CAIL and my skin just loves it.
@@nicolafeliciano4376 I think there is a version with lavender and one without it. I cannot say that mine smells like glue but I got what you said and yes, I think it's normal
Remember to patch test, especially for those with sensitive, reactive skin. I would get really red, itchy skin, and couldn't figure out why for the life of me, until I finally realized NIOD MG was the culprit since it was the only different product in my routine. I then patch-tested it on my arm, and lo and behold, my skin developed itchy, red dots. I have eczema-prone, sensitive skin, but since MG was supposed help with that, I didn't even think it would be a problem, and didn't bother patch-testing. Lesson learned!
Sorry it was the liquid gold I had a major reaction to, but the Niod MG is fine on me. We're all different though and can be sensitive to/allergic to anything. I'm sorry it didn't work for you. x
I am big fan of LRP cicaplast and where I live i can have 100 ml tube for like 7,5$ so it goes all over my body when I have irritation. That's one of my favourite face moisturizer and I have oily, acne prone sensitive skin :D. If I want something not so thick I go for avene tolerance extreme, I think it's the european godfather of oat so simple :) But another gamechanger is Uriage thermal water. I don't like thermal waters TBH, but this one... It's just like booster of soothing and strenghtening for the skin :). For serum I'm choosing LRP hyalu b5. It has alcohol in it, but trust me, nothing more streghtening and plumping and this is my problem during irritation :) SPF is bioderma cicabio spf 50+, very glowy, extremely soothing, a bit green so we have immidiate reduction of redness, the best during allergy season, winter and irritated face after some procedures. That's my combo for next allergy season, I will be quite (hehe) calm this year :D.
You look beautiful today. I go to you for all my k beauty skincare for the last two years ever since I discovered your Chanel. My skin is so much better nowadays. Thank you
love your recs Kelly! when my face feels raw I like to keep it simple - Im From Mugwort Essence, By Wishtrend Polyphenols, Cosrx Snail Mucin 96, Stratia LG and a good occlusive moisturiser like RNW Ceramide Cream. Im From Honey Mask if I feel like it
Hey Kelly! Love your video! What would recommend as a dupe for Stratia Liquid Gold for those from the EU who can't get their hands on it? We have the same skin type and issues, what moisturizers will you use for spring/summer? Thanks ❤
Hey Kelly, your product comparisons are so detailed and helpful. Would you consider doing a this or that for mugwort creams?😁 As a fellow sensitive skinned gal, I am curious how the I'm from, Missha, and Round lab compare but I'm sure there are probably more brands who produce similar products.
Kelly, have you tried Ample:N Ceramide Shot Ampoule? I know you're really into the holy trinity of barrier repair ingredients, i want to know your opinion about the ampoule
I would love to see your review on The Functional Skin's ruby clay mask and their lily cleanser, if you ever try it! The brand says their products are good for sensitive skin and yes, they're quite pricey but their products seem really interesting - especially the ruby clay mask which contains French red clay. As always, love your videos! This was so helpful as I was looking for products that are suitable for sensitive skin (mine isn't sensitive but it does get sensitised so I like to use products for sensitive skin to be safe).
I want to improve my skin barrier. Can u make a whole video dedicated to skin barrier strengthening? And recommend different type of toners, serums, cream... to choose Anyway, love ur content ❤
Try ceramides, panthenol, squalane, green tea, allantoin, niacinamide etc. Purito unscented serum, cosrx honey sleeping mask, bonajour green tea water bomb, cosrx Snail all in one cream and so much more
No, it isn't. Fun fact, no product is 100% free of potencial irritation. I know a few people that have the same problem. If you feel disconfort with a product, probably it is not for you. I love Cicaplast, it does wonders for my skin, but I can't handle creams with urea when my skin is sensitized. So wich of us may have different response to any product.
My legs feel like that right now omg it they burn and itch so bad I don't know what's going on it's warm here but I am going threw hell right now I tried hydrocortisone Cetaphil cream with the green lid and nothing is helping it's so incredibly uncomfortable.
Hey, out of curiosity does the U.S formulation of the LRP Cicaplast b5 baum contain Titanium dioxide?. I feel like this baum b5 actually slightly irritates me I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm 6 weeks dealing with a broken skin barrier and the only thing that seems to work is the Cetaphil rich night cream but I've been reluctant as it's got petrolatum in and I'm generally oily congested on my T
Some of my absolute fav sensitive skin savior products are the Dermalogica UltraCalming MIST, and the Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Toner. For a body/hand moisturizer I've been enjoying the Aveeno skin restoring line in the blue packaging. Face I've been gravitating towards the COSRX cica cream (original version, i think theres a thicker one now?) and then I'll go in with Skinfix Lipide Peptide Cream! :) love the video Kelly XO. PS ...i think i need to pick up the NIOD MG finally lol

Klairs midnight blue cream love that product
I have gotten so many great recommendations from your videos. Thank you!
My holy grail is LRP cicaplast balm. Can't live without it.
Hi! Can I ask if the LRP cicaplast smells like a glue?
@@nicolafeliciano4376 It smells a little herbal to me

No not at all. It melts in skin and relieve it. Nothing works so fast as LRP

Another amazing video Kelly!!!!!
I’m so early ! ☺️ I love watching while getting ready for work
Yaass, some quality skincare time together to start the day right! 💖
Really interested in urea, i heard the hada labo premium toner had it but i'm not sure about the amount. Will try to look for other urea products!
I love the Eucerin urea repair face cream, I think it suits well both dry skin and combo skin. 🥰
What is your favorite sensitive skin cleanser
Kelly, have you tried Ample:N Ceramide Shot Ampoule? I know you're really into the holy trinity of barrier repair ingredients, i want to know your opinion about the ampoule

Hey Kelly! Which one do you think is thicker, Purito Centella Unscented Cream OR Iunik Black Snail Restore Cream? Will be glad if you reply. Thanks!
