I like this concept of 5 minute meditations... "Meditations with Mike" perhaps 😄 How about one on handwriting? - your journey with your own cursive style, is it a lost art, the value in penmanship etc...
I agree. There are instances where an AI generated message for work would be beneficial in getting your point across but in writing a story or a novel, AI, at this point, would not convey a thought or feeling quite like an author's style, in his or her own words. A publisher's editor may change a word or phrase but probably hand back the draft for the writer to rewrite. I think it would be tantamount to forgery to use AI.
i often struggle with this idea? i love putting a phrase(one that i cant seem to get right) through ai and asking it to rephrase it into the style of f. scott fitzgeral or c.s. lewis. -yet technically it isn’t my writing, thoughts?
Get AI to write a book. Get AI voice to turn it into an audiobook. Get an AI app to listen to the audiobook. No human needs to be involved at all. The future of literature.
Hey mate 👋 About the AI so many teachers tell us at school to use AI sometimes what do you believe ?? Students may use AI?? Also can you make an video for the Conway Stewart D Day anniversary?
What would you be expected to use AI for? I cannot imagine any teacher advising a student to use it unless it was for specific projects such as some form of computer work. The fact is, you cannot trust an AI result - look at the law firms in big trouble because they used AI to find "similar" legal actions, and the AI simply invented names and dates. Those lawyers were heavily penalised (I think some had their bar licences revoked). It is the same as Wikipedia. You cannot be sure of the accuracy of the information provided. Wiki is horribly unreliable, to the extent that I cannot use it for my own researches. I have to find facts from books, because in books there are processes involving editors, copy editors, fact-checkers, proof readers and often external experts giving peer-reviews. On Wikipedia you may well have a professor giving his knowledge - but you may have a spotty youth from Sampford Courtenay wanting to irritate people on the web. I would strongly advise against AI for any academic research. Then again, in future, I imagine it is likely that everyone will rely on it, and as a result there will be many failed scientists, lawyers, and probably architects and others. All because they rely on a machine-learning system that gives easily-digestible information rather than correct information.
@@writerlywitterings Well you are right about the lawyers and the failed scientists but the fact that they are teaching in schools about AI is horrible as a student it I always try to do my projects without any AI use.
@@writerlywitterings Thanks a lot! Also, I can't decide what fountain I will buy next Mont Blanc 146 or Conway Stewart (D-day, Heritage) do you have any disadvantages or advantages for those pens??
Behind every story is a human being. Who was Agatha Christie? Who was Conan Doyle? Stories by AI don't interest me, because I'm not interested in the machine behind these stories, I am not interested in these algoritmes.
Same here. I am weaning myself off social media as much as possible, too. There's just not enough honesty and real human interaction - far too much misinformation and nonsense. AI just exacerbates all that.
In the words of Gollum, “Ai is tricksie. Ai is false.”
I agree with Gollum!
The stamp came out very well indeed !!
Thanks - I have to admit, I was really pleased with the result!
Thanks!
THANKYOU so much! I really appreciate the assistance!

Great suggestion! I'll definitely give that some thought. Cheers, Russ.
I’m a big fan of AI - “Actual” Intelligence 😊
THANKS for my first laugh of the day!

That's very much my opinion, too. It's basically cheating!
Mike has another chair shock! 😂
I know. Terrible, isn't it!
@writerlywitterings We like a bit of variety. But not toooo much. 😃

I think I'll be adding a new set of thoughts on this shortly! Many thanks for the next 5 minute brief!

Meanwhile, I'll get on to Conway Stewart about the pen - thanks for that, too!

I suggest to lose it. I am also not interested at all In AI
I'm with you there!
