I'm most curious about the centennial coin. Do you think someone lost it there 60 years ago? Thanks for providing the link that shows what the coin looked like when it was new.

well, good Question, to be honest, I dont know.all the terrain there used to be farmfields where potatoes and strawberries were grown.At some time the people there abandoned the fields there, and a forest was planted for timber extraction. However labour was too expensive and the forest has since been used for recreation.(jogging track, campsite exists since 1959)So the coin would pre-date that

@@MartijnTijmsMetaldetecting It's always useful to know the history of the land you are searching. In Europe, it's good to know who was on that land for 2000 or more years, while where I live, in Arizona, my town has not even been here for 50 years! Thanks for responding. I found what you said about the place interesting.
