A wet & windy evening at Nottingham East Midlands Airport. The conditions were not ideal for filming at all, but some nice water affects from both the departures & arrivals.
EMA is always best in the evening, thats when the majority of cargo movements start, with that in mind I arrived around 5pm and stayed until 9ish then had to call it a day as the rain was showing no sign of easing up. Some very old aircraft featured, a lot of the cargo planes are ex passenger aircraft that have been converted to freight. But the ages on some of them are well over 30 years old!
INCLUDES: 737s, 747, 757, 767s, 777, ATR-72s and a few private jets. Note this video doesn't feature a single Airbus. Somewhat of a rarety.
All flight info added on screen taken using flightradar24 on the date of filming.

Great footage, shame the weather wasn’t brilliant but that’s the East Mids for you. I don’t know why Flightradar24 have changed EMA to ‘Nottingham East Midlands Airport’ considering the airport is still just East Midlands Airport.

Curious that their are no airbuses here, come to think of it i've never seen an airbus at east midlands.

There is usually a few Airbus about. DHL send in A300s. I’ve seen BH Air A320s MNG Cargo A321s go in.
