I never had anyone pick a fight, but recently a woman near Washington Square Park yelled at me saying dont film in her direction. Which i replied saying "youre in a public space and it's legal for me to film in the open." She responded by saying "dont F'n film me" but i kept walking and filming as usual. She looked very angry but didnt say anything else. I've been filming for 15 months and it was the first time it ever happened.

My advice is always be cautious of people when youre filming. Never know what might happen, but legally filming in public - it's no concern.
